“That
you may with one mind and with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord
Jesus Christ.” Romans 15:6 (NKJV)
In
the name of Him who makes us kings and priests to His God and Father, Messiah
Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings. See Revelation 1:6
(NKJV)
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ,
he is a new creation; old things have passed away;
behold, all things have become new. 2
Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)
As I listened to the local “Christian” radio station the
speaker spoke of, “A new place where everyone can come and talk about the bible
in truth.” I have no reason to doubt the
speaker when it comes to there being, a new place where everyone can come and
talk about the [Bible]. My concern here
is the speaker’s use of the words, “in truth.”
There’s just way too many [false] teachings floating around
these days, even in the place where you’d expect the [Bible] to be talked about
“in truth.” I’m talking about within the walls of
earthly institutions called “church” here.
In a world bent on silencing [Biblical] truths, and additions and
subtractions to the [Bible] are common, there’s a very good chance of the
[Bible] not being treated properly wherever we go.
There’s no harm in saying, there’s a place where everyone
can come and talk about the [Bible].
That would be the place where people talk about the [Bible], and there’s
no limits as to how far they can go. As
soon as one says “in truth” however,
clear boundaries have been set. It’s
either 100% as laid out for us in the [Bible], or bust. History shows that “boundaries” are being set
by those not mentioned in the [Bible] that extend as far as their own understanding of the
[Scriptures] will take them, and by that establishing their own truths.
The [Bible] has established boundaries, God’s plan of
salvation is to be left well enough alone at all times, and it’s not God’s will
that anyone should cross that line. For
those [believing in] accepting what Jesus accomplished in the first century “old
things have passed away,” this would include any prior knowledge of the Anthanasian
Creed. These are the things followers of
Jesus [“a new creation”], have been delivered from.
Not that believers in Jesus are [completely]
oblivious to the Anthanasian Creed while here on earth, because sixteen hundred
plus years of false teachings have left their mark. The Anthanasian Creed doesn’t cross over into
heavenly places, which is in Christ Jesus.
God no longer sees those saved according to the [Scriptures] as lost but
rather, in Christ Jesus.
Anything you may have heard about the Anthanasian Creed even
to the point of believing it for yourself, passed
sins, “have passed away” the moment you are saved according to the [Scriptures]. For the one who [believes in] Messiah Yeshua
“Jesus” according to the [Scriptures], there’s no longer any more connections
to these “old things.”
“A new place where everyone can come and talk about the
bible in truth.” Whose “truth” is the
speaker talking about here? We need to
have our mind made up beforehand, wherever we go. Will we either stay with the [Bible] 100% or will
we leave it behind?
God bless.
In His Care… Jim
