Grace,
mercy, and truth will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus
Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. 2 John 3 (NKJV)
In
the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.
While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I
heard, “Our conversation is not edifying to Jesus Christ.” The speaker’s point was that believers have
lost the ability to keep their conversations focused on Jesus. There’s irony when the one saying something
is not edifying to Jesus Christ, desires additions made to the [Bible] like the
Anthanasian Creed.
If we can’t be committed to leaving
the [Bible] as is, we’ll end up either altering it or accepting someone else’s
alterations to it. We need to be
concerned with saying anything, that doesn’t edify what Jesus accomplished in
the first century.
I believe that anything we do for Messiah Yeshua
“Jesus,” will last.
Who would you say accepts additions made to what has been
clearly laid out for us in the [Bible]?
The one confessing salvation
because they believe Jesus is the Son of God, or the one telling that believer they
are not saved unless they believe the doctrine of the trinity.
Saying unless one believes the doctrine of the trinity one
cannot be saved, doesn’t help anyone.
Once a false doctrine, the Anthanasian Creed will always be a false
doctrine.
God bless.
In His Care… Jim
