From One Believer To Another

From One Believer to Another

If this is your first time visiting this blog, “Welcome!”

As you read, I pray you’ll not see me as being angry at anyone. Firm at times with some, I’ll agree with that. I know that no matter what a person has gone through, things they’ve said or done, or still doing for that matter, there’s a 50/50 chance of my having sought forgiveness for doing the exact same thing at one time or another. I know the battle is not against flesh and blood my friend.

Throughout this blog you will find me quoting things heard on the radio. You’ll not find the names of those who said these things in the posts. I do document their names, the date, time, and radio station call sign on my copy of the original document. I do not publish these details because our mission should be to expose the false teachings not to personally attack the person.

If you should continue reading my friend, you will find the Anthanasian Creed being exposed for what it is, a false doctrine. The word of God having the final say. My trusting in He who knows hears and sees all things, the God of the [Bible].

Scripture Alone Will Always Show The Truth

Those speaking well about the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God,” can’t make it true. I can only imagine the number of times it has been taught as believable, when biblically speaking it’s not gospel. Human wisdom birthed “the Son is God.” Today we can choose to validate this idea with actual Scriptures, or man’s understanding of them. It’s one or the other. Scripture will prove “the Son is God” false. In John 20:17 (NKJV) Jesus said, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” The Bible is crystal clear concerning the matter, Jesus ascended to His God and Father. To imply that “the Son is God” and Jesus are the same, is to say the biblical account of Jesus’s ascension to His God and Father is a scam. I can talk about Jesus’s ascension to His God and Father, without even mentioning the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God.” Scripture alone will always show the truth. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Stories About Jesus

There was a time when the common person just had to rely on others, trusting they were handling the Bible properly. Since the writing of the Bible, church history shows a lot being said about Jesus that is just not true. When someone picks up a Bible today, prior to reading it, they should understand this. The biblical account of who Jesus is, is reliable. Taking the time to learn more about Jesus, as laid out for us in the Scriptures is worthwhile. Simply, if it comes down to trusting those who lift up the tale of the Anthanasian Creed, or Jesus, I choose Jesus. That creed’s “the Son is God” is a common belief today, but not a valid one. That Is In The Bible

Spending time lifting up the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God” today, is wasted time. It influences the way folks treat the Bible. Trusting the Bible wholeheartedly, that is to say Scripture alone, is essential. In John 20:17 (NKJV) Jesus said, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” Jesus called the God of the Bible “My God” His God. That is in the Bible. “The Son is God,” whether you believe it or not, where would you say it can be found? God bless. In His Care… Jim

In What Way Can You Add?

When speaking in support of “the Son is God,” what you’re saying is not biblical. Actually, you’ve placed the Bible beneath man’s understanding of the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God.” The Bible has already given us a clear view of Jesus’s ascension to His God and Father. There’s no need to question or tamper with it. In John 20:17 (NKJV) Jesus said, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” Therefore, it makes absolutely no sense for the Biblical Jesus and the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God” to be the same. In what way can you add “the Son is God,” to the biblical account of Jesus’s ascension to His God and Father? God bless. In His Care… Jim

No Title

Mishandling the Bible to fit the narrative of those believing “the Son is God,” is a bad idea.

It'll Amount To Nothing

Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. 1 Corinthians 3:7 (NKJV) Let me demonstrate this with an example. The result of a speaker’s sermon is that someone is saved. That speaker, “neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters,” shouldn’t accept credit, nor are they responsible, for that person’s salvation. The speaker “through whom you believed,” shouldn’t think of themselves as being the source of your salvation. It can only be, “God who gives the increase.” Likewise, one can “plant” and “water” the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God” wherever and as often as they like, but it’ll amount to nothing. There could be signs of an increase, measured by others accepting it as believable, but they’ll amount to nothing as well. If you want to believe God’s plan of salvation as laid out for us in the Bible, you have to understand who Jesus is. God Bless. In His Care… Jim

The Gospel Of Christ Jesus

Be wary of those that tend to believe the doctrine of the trinity more than they do the Bible. Jesus’s ascension to His God and Father is real, yet some still believe Jesus and the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God” are the same. The gospel of Christ Jesus transforms those trusting the biblical account of what Jesus said and did, which can only end well for them. God bless. In His Care… Jim

In Order To Maintain Their Salvation

I heard on the radio that “the church had to always deal with heresy.” I would agree. The question then becomes; how do we face heresy today? For example, if someone were to say that baptizing a newly born Human saves them. Would you say “heresy,” or sound doctrine? The first thing one would have to do, is search the Scriptures. Is there any evidence in the Scriptures where the act of baptizing a baby allowed them to be saved. The alternative being, would it require man’s understanding of the Scriptures to make it so? I would say there is a contradiction between “baptizing a newly born Human saves them” and the Anthanasian Creed’s false method of salvation. The Anthanasian Creed declares unless one believes “the Son is God” one cannot be saved. A newly born Human can’t believe that yet. You can’t teach both of these as true. If baptism saved the “newly born Human,” not knowing anything about “the Son is God,” then how do you reconcile these two teachings? The only explanation would be that “the newly born Human” would then have to go onto to believe the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God” in order to maintain their salvation. Therefore, I would say, heresy. There’s no actual evidence of either of them being so in the Scriptures. God bless. In His Care… Jim

What Others Said About Jesus

One of the things that happen when you support the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God,” is you move further away from the biblical account of who Jesus is. When first choosing to accept “the Son is God” as true, instead of trusting the source preaching it, this should’ve given you reason enough to search the Scriptures for yourself. The most important thing is to be found on the right side of Jesus’s teachings. It’s no secret that those believing “the Son is God” today, twist the biblical account of who Jesus is. They’d be better off sticking to what others said about Jesus in the Bible. Just as there’s no actual evidence of Jesus claiming to be God in the Bible, there’s plenty of those in the Bible questioning that He claimed to be the Son of God. You can’t teach “the Son is God” properly, without having it superseding everything Jesus accomplished in the first century as laid out for us in the Bible. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Till He Comes

For I received from the Lord that which I also deliver to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes. 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 (NKJV) Apostle Paul didn’t make this up, nor did he receive it from the Apostle Peter, Ananias (Acts 9:10-17) or Alexander the coppersmith (2 Timothy 4:14). “For I received from the Lord that which I also deliver to you.” Just as my salvation has nothing to do with man’s understanding of the Scriptures, neither does my personal relationship with Jesus. When I proclaim “the Lord’s death till He comes,” as I “eat this bread and drink this cup,” I’m thankful for not only my sins being forgiven, but for Jesus taking them to the cross for me. God bless. The Power To Save You

There’s no place here on earth for you to go to find a person who has the power to save you. Salvation is not based on your ability, nor on man’s understanding of the Scriptures, but rather on you choosing to believe in Christ Jesus as laid out for us in the Scriptures. “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 (NKJV) That name, is Jesus. God bless. In His Care… Jim

If Not For Jesus

Can we be certain of the longevity of Jesus’s teachings? Yes, and one single verse of Scripture can easily prove it to be so. In Matthew 24:35 (NKJV) Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” We need to take the biblical account of who Jesus is seriously. Biblically speaking there’s no good reason to explore worldly views. When you know what the Bible teaches about Jesus, you’ll know He’s leading us in the right direction. I trust the Bible wholeheartedly, but I can’t attach my name to anything recorded in it. I give thanks to God for all of it. I don’t want to imagine where I’d be today, if not for Jesus. God bless. The Jesus Of The Bible

Everything Jesus accomplished in the first century as laid out for us in the Bible would be for not, if He’s found contradicting Himself elsewhere in it. The mere thought of Jesus contradicting Himself in the Bible terrifies me. For Him to say something truthful about His God and Father (John 20:17), only then to say something false about Him, that’s not the Jesus of the Bible. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Leaders Of Church Councils?

Do we dare consider the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God,” without first setting the record straight on where it actually stands with the Bible? Do we just accept it because leaders of church councils, seeing themselves as having the final authority of all things concerning the matter and in AD 325, approve of it? God forbid. When giving the Bible the final say, “the Son is God” is meaningless. The Bible is trustworthy as is, and it speaks often of Jesus’s ascension to His God and Father. Who’s to say that folks, in this case leaders of church councils, have the authority to alter Scripture? I know some folks believe that the “Holy Spirit” guided them in AD 325, but please, don’t make it appear as though the Holy Spirit would contradict the Scriptures. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Pursue Christ-Likeness

When I think Biblically or to be more specific, pursue Christ-likeness, I give no thought to the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God.” Those lifting it up don’t know the truth concerning the matter. Jesus ascended to His God and Father. In John 20:17 (NKJV) Jesus said, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” Christianity is not a religion, but a relationship. In the totality of what the Bible says, there’s no relationship to “the Son is God.” Church history is penned by men and they decide what goes in it. “The Son is God” only came to exist with the Anthanasian Creed, not because there is Biblical support for it. Pursuing Jesus as laid out for us in the Bible not only keeps us on the right track, it shows us when we’re moving away from it. My future is uncertain, but my hope is in Christ Jesus. I need His help. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Building A Nest In A Tree

Knowing about Jesus, isn’t the same as believing in Him according to the Scriptures. Just knowing about Jesus, is like building a nest in a tree that’s going to be cut down. Nothing is more important to one’s salvation, than to trust the biblical account of who Jesus is. Spending eternity with Jesus, or without Him, depends on it. Believing false doctrines makes it easier for one to miss the mark. For those saved according to the Scriptures, there is no condemnation. God bless. In His Care… Jim
