One Thing Is Needed

Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.” And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:38-42 (NKJV)

There are those who love the Anthanasian Creeds add-ons to God’s plan of salvation so much, they treat those who don’t as nonbelievers in Jesus Christ.  They won’t see that in God’s plan of salvation only “one thing is needed,” for one to be saved according to the [Scriptures].

Those [believing in] confessing Jesus is the Son of God have “chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from” them.

The Anthanasian Creeds false method of salvation is upheld by those not cited in the [Bible], and staying clear of it is the safest thing one could do.

Teach Good Things

In the name of He who when being asked “Are You then the Son of God” answered “You rightly say that I am,” Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.  See Luke 22:70 (NKJV)

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”  John 3:16 (NKJV)

While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard a speaker referring to sayings worth repeating over and over again.  The speaker stated that “Any good teacher knows you teach good things” is one of those sayings.  I would tell you if you value truth, don’t make the mistake of misleading others into believing the Anthanasian Creed is legit.  By repeating false teachings over and over again, for the last sixteen hundred plus years, the Anthanasian Creed followers [actually] reveal how it added onto God’s plan of salvation.  It is sad they can’t see the additions made to God’s plan of salvation as false teachings.      

If one was to say unless one believes the doctrine of the trinity one cannot be saved, I’d asked them, “Where are you getting your information from?”  I know they’d say the bible is their source but at that moment, they’ll be left having to explain why it takes the Anthanasian Creed to make their point.  Even they know that in the [Bible], there’s no evidence of anyone having to believe the doctrine of the trinity to be saved.

When it comes to who Messiah Yeshua “Jesus” is, the [Bible] is clear.  Messiah Yeshua “Jesus” is, the Son of God.  I’m talking about the salvation of one’s soul here and John 3:16 is clear concerning the matter.  “Whoever believes in” Jesus “should not perish but have everlasting life.”  Everything one needs to know about Messiah Yeshua “Jesus” is in the [Bible].  This one simple verse is worth repeating over and over again until it becomes part of you.

The Anthanasian Creed is a prime example of what not to do with the inspired word of God, the [Bible].  Does anyone need to believe the Anthanasian Creed to be saved?  No, but if they do, they’ll be left with having to defend the false teachings of the Anthanasian Creed.  Instead, teach good things.

Seek Those Things Which Are Above

In the only name given among men by which we must be saved, Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.  See Acts 4:12 (NKJV)

If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.  Colossians 3:1-4 NKJV

While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard, “We’re all a product of our backgrounds, things learned, things taught, and culture.”  “Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth,” was my first though after hearing it. 

“If then you were raised with Christ,” says that until you [believe in] accept what Jesus accomplished in the first century your mind will [always] be set “on things of the earth,” things not pleasing to God.

God’s word itself is all you will need, which is available for all to read in the [Bible], as you “seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.”

A Slippery Slope

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV)

While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard, “If the bible is not true then everything I’ve been saying has no foundation.”  Knowing the speaker on the radio lifts up the Anthanasian Creed, I’d say, the speaker has a 50/50 chance of standing on a firm foundation or the Anthanasian Creed.  It’s a slippery slope.  Never think that confidence in the Anthanasian Creed is beneficial.

If you can’t see that Jesus’ God and His brethren’s God are one and the same in John 20:17, you shouldn’t be talking about it.

There’s irony when the one saying God sent His Son, believes this same God died on a cross for the sin of the world.  When one speaks well of the Anthanasian Creed, they’re actually lifting up the teachings of those who believed the Anthanasian Creed.  This never ending loop of false teachings in which the [Bible] gets twisted every which way but loose, never should have made its way into the twenty first century.

In a world bent on silencing [Biblical] truths the last thing anyone needs, is more false teachings.

The Greatest Teacher

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.  1 John 4:15 (NKJV)

While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard, “Jesus is not only the Son of God, He’s the greatest teacher.”  I don’t know about you but I’d say by confessing “that Jesus is the Son of God,” the speaker on the radio is saved according to the [Scriptures].

If you can’t see that “Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God” is saved according the [Scriptures] in 1 John 4:15, you should spend more time with the “greatest teacher” who will show you this truth.

The Bible Could Never Straighten This Out

In the only name given among men by which we must be saved, Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.  See Acts 4:12 (NKJV)

“For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.” John 12:49-50 (NKJV)

While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard, “Jesus claimed to speak only the words God the Father told Him to say.”  Even though the speaker on the radio didn’t mention that Jesus Himself said “just as the Father has told Me, so I speak,” the speaker is 100% correct on this point. 

What I find interesting is that unlike the speaker, Jesus didn’t say “God the Father told Him to say.”  Instead Jesus said, “Just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.”  I know the Anthanasian Creed lurks in the background.  Followers of that creed believe and teach, “The Son is God.”

There’s no harm in the speaker saying “God the Father” told Jesus what to say.  What creates an absolute mess is saying “God the Father” told “the Son is God” what to say.  The [Bible] could never straighten this out.  The [Bible] is clear concerning the matter, Jesus is the Son of God.

“I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.”  The Son of God “Jesus” did ascend to His God and Father, the all-knowing God of the [Bible].  This [Biblical] truth is in jeopardy, if you believe that Jesus’ teachings support the Anthanasian Creeds way to salvation.  If you can’t trust the [Bible] all the time as is, then you can’t trust it at all.

Privatizing the [Bible], making it what you want it to be, opens the door for things like the Anthanasian Creeds addition to what the Son of God “Jesus” accomplished in the first century.

Trust God’s plan for salvation and throw away the Anthanasian Creeds addition.

Ananias

Grace, mercy, and truth will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. 2 John 3 (NKJV)

In the name of Him who God sent to be the propitiation for our sins, Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.  See 1 John 4:8-11 (NKJV)

Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias; and to him the Lord said in a vision, “Ananias.” And he said, “Here I am, Lord.” So the Lord said to him, “Arise and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for one called Saul of Tarsus, for behold, he is praying. And in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias coming in and putting his hand on him, so that he might receive his sight.”

Then Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much harm he has done to your saints in Jerusalem. And here has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on Your name.”

But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel. For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name’s sake.”

And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”  Acts 9:10-17 (NKJV)

While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard, speaking of Ananias, “He had an ear that was open to the word of God.”  The speaker on the radio did a masterful job of bringing this story to life.  There is so little written about Ananias in the [Bible] yet he plays a critical role when it comes to Saul. Knowing Saul, who is also called Paul, went onto write a significant portion of the New Testament, shows why the [Bible] deserves our [utmost] respect.  Even the smallest portions are important and barely mentioned people are significant.

There’s so much to gain by delivering [Biblical] truths, just as they’ve been laid out for us in the [Bible]. 

I wish followers of the Anthanasian Creed weren’t so familiar with, the Anthanasian Creed.  There’s nothing to gain by it and it takes away from becoming more familiar with, the [Biblical] Jesus.

Although the speaker on the radio lifts up the Anthanasian Creed, there was no mention of anything tied to the Anthanasian Creed in bringing this particular [Biblical] story to life.
