“We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, praying always for you.” Colossians 1:3 (NKJV)
In
the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.
Jesus answered and said to him,
“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3
(NKJV)
While listening to the local “Christian” radio station a
follower of the Anthanasian Creed said, speaking of children in their youth,
“At the moment of salvation a child is born to get into the word of God.”
I can only [pray] that this “born again” child of God
is not told that unless he/she believes the doctrine of the trinity they’re not
saved. Unfortunately followers of the
Anthanasian Creed have been doing this, since that creed became doctrine of the
Catholic Church in 325-AD.
In this case the speaker on the
radio was not saying such a thing in their message. There was not a single mentioning of anything
linked to the Anthanasian Creed in it whatsoever. The comment just started me thinking.
The [Bible] is a story of redemption, and nothing will ever replace
it. If you think adding onto God’s plan
of salvation, as the Anthanasian Creed does, isn’t an attempt to replace it,
you’d be greatly mistaken. The
Anthanasian Creed is the high priest of all false doctrines, because its
believe it [or else] false method of salvation wouldn’t exists if not for the
writings of those not mentioned in the [Bible].
Come now, you who say, “Today or
tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell,
and make a profit”; whereas you do
not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a
vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. Instead you ought
to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall
live and do this or that.” But know you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. Therefore, to him
who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin. James 4:13-17 (NKJV)
The coronavirus has changed the way we live our daily lives. Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on
how one treats the [Bible], there’s clear guidelines to be followed in it. I say unfortunately, because there are some
that give us a “hint” that they believe in Jesus Christ, and who think they
know what will happen tomorrow. The
[Bible] is clear, whether you’re a young child or an adult of many years, saved
or not saved, we “do not know what will happen tomorrow.”
I can understand why nonbelievers say things like unless we
fix the world it’s is going to end in our lifetime, they may be oblivious to
[Biblical] truths now, but that could change “at the moment of salvation.” What I don’t understand is why those
believing in Jesus Christ, in any and all circumstances, would not [publically]
say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.”
“For God so loved the world that He
gave His only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 (NKJV)
For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil, for
which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced
themselves through with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6:10 (NKJV)
I hope I’m wrong but the evidence of it being so is overwhelmingly
convincing, that “the love of money” is behind these acts of unkindness
in the world today, with personal gain running a close second. For the nonbeliever, at the moment of
salvation, they will begin to see the error in their way and turn towards the
Lord’s will.
To anyone looking at the believer it should be obvious for
all to see, who they serve by their actions, especially in these times. What Jesus accomplished in the first century,
that is salvation for “whoever believes in Him,” is the answer as to how
we should live our lives today.
God bless.
In His Care… Jim
