Claim the Cross of Messiah Yeshua

“That you may with one mind and with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 15:6 (NKJV)

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings. 

According to the last sentence of the Anthanasian Creed a person “cannot be saved” unless they “faithfully” believe “the Son is God”. 

The Anthanasian Creed surfaced and became the doctrine of the Catholic Church in 325-AD.  “The Son is God” is [directly] linked to that creed.  Before the arrival of the Anthanasian Creed in 325-AD, “the Son is God,” isn’t.

Whatever the follower of the Anthanasian Creed has to offer, in defense of their false system of belief, will be hearsay at best.  It surfaced well after the last entry of the New Testament which was recorded in the first century.

Those believing the Anthanasian Creed, have you given any thought to those living prior to 325-AD?  This would include those mentioned in the Hebrew [Scriptures], the “Old Testament,” and in the New Testament?  What would the salvation of their souls be resting on?  Teaching that a person “cannot be saved” unless they “faithfully” believe in that which surfaced in 325-AD, this puts the salvation of many souls at the mercy of the Anthanasian Creed.

My friends, when it comes to the salvation of one’s soul, the blood of the Lamb, the [Biblical] Yeshua’s shed blood on a cross, this is where one’s claim should be, not a man-made doctrine that surfaced in 325-AD. 

While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard a follower of the Anthanasian Creed say, “It’s time to renew our mind to what the [Bible] actually says.”  It doesn’t matter what caused this person to say “It’s time to renew our mind to what the [Bible] actually says”.  This in itself is sound advice for us all.  It eliminates the Anthanasian Creed from the conversation, altogether.

The Word of God is Clear

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.” Ephesians 1:3 (NKJV)

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.

While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard a pastor say, “The word of God is so clear in its statements and its principles.”

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV)

This pastor is a follower of the Anthanasian Creed.  How could he say “The word of God is so clear in its statements and its principles,” when he doesn’t see the significance of John 20:17.  In John 20:17 the [Biblical] Yeshua is not only ascending to His God and Father, He’s ascending to His brethren’s God and Father, too.  This clearly establishes Yeshua’s God and Father and Yeshua’s brethren’s God and Father as being one and, the same. 

And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” John 17:3 (NKJV)

When the [Biblical] Yeshua said “that they may know You, the only true God (John 17:3),” He’s praying for those with Him then, us today for that matter, to see the significance of knowing who the only true God is. 

There’s only one true God my friends, and He sent the [Biblical] Yeshua “Jesus Christ”.  Jesus Christ is calling the one that sent Him “You, the only true God,” “My God” His God in John 20:17.  The word of God is so clear.  As plain and simple as that is, followers of the Anthanasian Creed don’t see it that clearly.  They see the events that took place in 325-AD, specifically when the Anthanasian Creed became doctrine of the Catholic Church, as [the] defining moment in “church” history. 

We have Catholic and Protestant “churches” today, having their differences, but the Anthanasian Creeds [false] method of salvation continues to be taught as a “biblical truth” in both.

It doesn’t matter the [denomination] name of the “church” one attends, if its “leaders” are teaching the Anthanasian Creeds method of salvation, they’ll have no choice but to refer back to that which was given to them in the year, 325-AD.  There’s no [Biblical] evidence of anyone having to believe [or else] the Anthanasian Creeds “the Son is God” to be saved.

“The word of God is so clear in its statements and its principles,” is true, but should not be heard from those teaching false doctrines.  The Anthanasian Creed [is] the high priest of them all. 

Those believing the Anthanasian Creed, would you say the [Biblical] Yeshua was telling it like it is in John 17:3 and, John 20:17?  Would you say the inspired word of God endures forever?  How about the Anthanasian Creed itself.  Would you say the person totally rejecting it cannot be saved?  As a firm believer [in] Messiah Yeshua, knowing exactly what the [Biblical] Yeshua has done for me, I wouldn’t give it a second thought.  I totally reject everything the Anthanasian Creed stands for.

Christ is God's

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,” 1 Peter 1:3 (NKJV)

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.

While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard a pastor say, “If God is love and Christ is God… then Christ is love.”  He wasn’t questioning it, he believes “Christ is God”.

And you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s. 1 Corinthians 3:23 (NKJV)

There’s absolutely no [Biblical] evidence of this pastor’s claim, “Christ is God”.  As long as he continues to ignore 1 Corinthians 3:23 where it clearly establishes “Christ is God’s,” a follower of the Anthanasian Creed he will be.  Who else would say such a thing?  For the sake of clarity being a follower of the Anthanasian Creed, isn’t a good thing.  The Anthanasian Creed [is] the high priest of all false doctrines.   

Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.  1 Corinthians 15:28 (NKJV)

Those believing the Anthanasian Creed, do you see how “then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all,” proves the pastor’s “Christ is God,” false.  “The Son Himself” in 1 Corinthians 15:28, [is] the [Biblical] Yeshua “Christ”. 

When Paul wrote “And you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s” (1 Corinthians 3:23), did he forget about it when he got around to writing “then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him” (1 Corinthians 15:28)?  I wouldn’t say “Yes,” if I were you.

Let’s cut to the chase.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,” Apostle Saul (who is also called Paul), 2 Corinthians 1:3 (NKJV)

“The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is blessed forever, knows that I am not lying.” Apostle Saul (who is also called Paul), 2 Corinthians 11:31 (NKJV)

Would you say Paul left the people of Corinth reason to believe the pastor’s “Christ is God”?  I wouldn’t give it a second thought.  I know if it’s linked to the Anthanasian Creed in any way shape or form, it can only be traced back to 325-AD.  This makes the Anthanasian Creed hearsay, at best.

Who Can Say the Meaning Behind I Love You?

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,” Ephesians 1:17 (NKJV)

So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs.”

He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Tend My sheep.”

He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.” John 21:15-17 (NKJV)

In the previous post I discussed something I heard on the local “Christian” radio station referring to Peter’s use of the words, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”  Just a few hours after posting the previous post, Sounding Good to the Pastor Doesn’t Make It Good for You, a different pastor, this time hearing it on television, has me writing about the exact same thing.

The pastor on television said Peter’s “You know that I love You” meant Peter loved Jesus but just as a “philo” friend.  This exactly correlates with what the pastor on the radio said.  The television pastor added, “Peter knew he could only love Jesus as a friend because his love for Jesus can never compare with Jesus’ love for him.”

These two pastors have either come up with this idea on their own, been taught it at some “higher” place of learning (seminary), or read it somewhere in a book.  Peter left us no reason to believe “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You,” means he sees Jesus as [just] a friend.

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV) 

Peter’s death, by crucifixion, leads me to believe Peter loved Jesus [just] as Jesus loved him.  Not only that, it causes me to love both Jesus and Peter and with the same love Yeshua’s God and Father and Peter’s God and Father (who just so happens to be the all-knowing God of the [Bible]), loves me.  When I say “Thanks, I love You,” to the [Biblical] Yeshua for the things He has done for me, I don’t need anyone telling me what I mean.

• Whatever it is that’s causing people to believe Peter’s “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You,” means Peter loved Jesus as [just] a friend, is hearsay at best.

It doesn’t matter the language a person speaks, or the many different ways “love” can be used [interpreted] for that matter.  Saying I love You to the [Biblical] Yeshua, is to agree with God’s plan of redemption and salvation for the world.

Just as it is with the radio pastor, the television one is a follower of the Anthanasian Creed.  I don’t need to think twice about where they’re coming from.  Followers of that creed can only see that which they have been taught, and by those believing the same as them.  Their [false] system of belief can only be traced back to 325-AD.  What they fail to see, the God of the [Bible] knowing hearing and seeing all things, will have them looking at themselves before judging others by a false system of belief.

Sounding Good to the Pastor, Doesn't Make It Good for You

While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard a pastor explain, exactly what took place in John 21:15-17.

The first two times Jesus said “Do you love Me” to Peter, “love” was referring to “agape” love which is to say the highest form of love. 

The third time Jesus said “Do you love Me” to Peter, “love” was referring to “philo” love which the pastor himself labeled “a friendship kind of love”.

Each time Peter said “You know that I love You,” Peter was actually saying he loved Jesus as a friend.  Peter saying “Yes, Lord, You know that I love You” [as a friend]. 

That on the third time Jesus asked “Do you love Me” He had to switch from using “agape” love to “philo” love, to get on the same level as Peter. 

The pastor somehow knew Peter wasn’t getting it on the first two attempts thus causing Yeshua to “lower Himself to Peter’s level” to make it easier for Peter to understand “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” 

By the way this pastor is a follower of the Anthanasian Creed which explains why he can’t [Biblically] prove his point.  Followers of that creed see man’s interpretation/understanding of scripture, as the “source” of their system of belief.  Just as it is with the Anthanasian Creeds [false] method of salvation, there’s no [Biblical] evidence of Peter not understanding Yeshua’s question.   

Jesus was talking [directly] to Peter.  Whoever/whatever “more than these” are, Peter had to choose which of them he loved more.  Jesus being the only other option.  When Yeshua said “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these,” it set the stage for everything that was to follow.  This includes everything leading up to, Yeshua’s second coming, for that matter.

When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?” So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Matthew 16:13-16 (NKJV)

When Peter said “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You” to Yeshua, he knew exactly who he was speaking to.

Well Said Teacher

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,” 2 Corinthians 1:3 (NKJV)

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.

Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.  And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’  This is the first commandment.  And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’  There is no other commandment greater than these.”  So the scribe said to Him, “Well said, Teacher, You have spoken the truth, for there is one God, and there is no other but He.”  Mark 12:29-32 (NKJV)

Have you given any thought to what the scribe actually said to Jesus “Well said, Teacher, You have spoken the truth, for there is one God, and there is no other but He”? 

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart” and “You shall love your neighbor as yourself” are quoted often.  “Well said, Teacher, You have spoken the truth,” this is something we need to think about after reading that which the [Biblical] Yeshua spoke, to the extent of it being automatic, no longer a thought but the first thing heard coming from us.

“Well said, Teacher,” shows that the scribe saw Yeshua as a [trustworthy] Teacher.

“You have spoken the truth,” shows that the scribe totally understood everything the “Teacher” said and knew it to be true.

“For there is one God, and there is no other but He,” shows that the “Teacher” who just so happens to be the [Biblical] Yeshua, gave the scribe no reason to believe that Yeshua was “He” that God.  The scribe wasn’t going to be moved from that which he [knew] to be, the truth.

And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” John 17:3 (NKJV)

Those believing the Anthanasian Creed, are [you] willing to say “Well said, Teacher, You have spoken the truth, for there is one God, and there is no other but He,” after reading John 20:17?  I am. With the idea of loving my neighbor, I am willing to tell my neighbor Yeshua’s God and Father desires to be their God and Father too.  It is the neighborly thing to do.

The "Pastor" is not the Problem

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.

In a previous post titled [What is the Gospel Message Offered?] I wrote, “Keep in mind, as I’ve said many times before, the Anthanasian Creed and not this pastor, is the problem here.”  After an interesting conversation concerning the matter, I’m led to share a small portion of that conversation with you.  The conversation took place at the local coffee house.  The other person wanted to know why the pastor wasn’t the problem.

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves.” Matthew 23:15 (NKJV)

First and foremost, those teaching the Anthanasian Creeds [false] method of salvation are no better off than the “scribes and Pharisees” Yeshua is speaking of in Matthew 23:15.  Coming to their own conclusions as to what or isn’t, the [Biblically] correct thing to do.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”  John 3:16 (NKJV)

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.  1 John 4:15 (NKJV) 

When a person invites the [Biblical] Yeshua “Jesus” into their heart, seeking forgiveness for their sins, they’re [Biblically] saved.  There’s nothing complicated about God’s plan of redemption and salvation my friends.  “Whoever believes in Him,” the [Biblical] Yeshua “Jesus”, “confesses to Jesus being the Son of God”.

There’s no need to offer the person confessing Yeshua “Jesus” is the Son of God, anything having to do with the Anthanasian Creed.  The Anthanasian Creed is a false doctrine.  It has no place in [Biblical] conversations.  The inspired word of God exposes it as a false doctrine and reveals that the Anthanasian Creed has absolutely nothing to do with anything.

The Anthanasian Creed a man-made accepted doctrine of [a] “church”.  Its false method of salvation [forces] one to “faithfully” believe “the Son is God” to be saved, or else, can only be traced back to the origin of the creed itself, 325-AD.

A small portion of my conversation:

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6 (NKJV)

If a person believes and teaches only one way to God, the [Biblical] Yeshua, why would they even give the Anthanasian Creed a second thought?

Having invested much time and money (education), better yet pride, followers of the Anthanasian Creed can’t see the benefits of putting everything directly linked to it in its proper resting place, the nearest trash bin.  They should trash the creed and let the teachings of the [Biblical] Yeshua rise to the surface.

The Anthanasian Creed [is] the problem.  Those teaching it as a [Biblical] truth, are just passing on what was given to them.  Unfortunately the “hearsay” list of names [directly] linked to the Anthanasian Creed, gets longer with each passing day.  Don’t forget, this list of names can only be traced back to 325-AD.  Prior to that, the Son of God was just that, the Son of God. 

As you know I listen to the local “Christian” radio station.  I can safely say that this list of names, is growing at a rapid pace.  People [are] being forced to believe in that which has absolutely no [Biblical] support, the Anthanasian Creeds [false] method of salvation, because they are not hearing the truth.

The “pastor” is not the problem.  He’s a victim. 

As a firm believer [in] Messiah Yeshua, I know the battle is not against flesh and blood.  Therefore I see each individual, even those teaching false doctrines, as having an opportunity to turn from whatever it is and to the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Seeing the cross of Messiah Yeshua for what it is, the answer to [all] their “sins” mistakes. 

You see, I know all things work together for good to those who love God.  I also know the Anthanasian Creed is one [huge] mistake.
