It's About Jesus And Not About You

How do you stand on Scripture alone when you’re doubting something said about Jesus? Most importantly, don’t jump to conclusions because it very well could be true. Take each and every opportunity to talk about Jesus, knowing it’s about Jesus and not about you. For example, followers of the Anthanasian Creed, when lifting up “the Son is God,” can’t just talk about the biblical account of who Jesus is. They have to rely on what they’ve been taught to believe about “the Son is God.” As they present their case, believing there’s actual evidence of it being so in the Bible, you need to stand on Scripture alone. There’s no need to debate the validity of Jesus’s ascension to His God and Father. In John 20:17 (NKJV) Jesus said, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” Keep in mind that people are free to think or believe whatever they like. The Bible doesn’t force anyone into believing it. As followers of Christ Jesus, we shouldn’t either. There’s no better feeling than walking away from a conversation knowing you did right by Jesus.
