The One Who Knows The Truth

Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. Hebrews 4:14 (NKJV)

While listening to the local “Christians” station I heard, “The only way to separate truth from false doctrines is to know someone who knows the truth.”  The speaker on the radio is a follower of the Anthanasian Creed.

“So the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Ghost is God. And yet they are not three Gods, but one God.”  - Anthanasian Creed.

“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”  John 17:3 (NKJV)

In John 17:3, Jesus is saying “the only true God,” is who “sent” Jesus.  Someone in 325-AD, modified it in order for the Son of God to become “the Son is God,” God.  Such a modification would infer that they may know you [Jesus] the only true God and Jesus Christ whom [Jesus] have sent.  This conflicts with the truth found in John 17:3; let alone the rest of the [Scriptures].  In 325-AD, the average person walking the streets had no access to the [Scriptures].  They were solely possessed, interpreted, and taught by the then “church.”  The “church” alone determined what’s to be, or not to be, concerning the [Scriptures], and professed their interpretation as being a [Biblical] truth when it wasn’t always.  With hind sight being 20/20, we know that’s exactly what occurred in 325-AD with the Anthanasian Creed.

“This is the catholic (Christian) faith; which except you believe faithfully and firmly, you cannot be saved.”  - Last sentence of the Anthanasian Creed.

The Anthanasian Creed is just one example of man’s attempt to establish themselves as being the measure of all things.  They use the word “God” in their systems of belief, without having the [Biblical] evidence supporting their use of it.  The Anthanasian Creed establishes, unless a person believes “the Son is God” he or she “cannot be saved.”  If that doesn’t sound like a [control] issue, that’s a problem.  How about there being no [Biblical] evidence of it being so?  It being written after the fact?  Would it help any if you knew it wasn’t inspired?

“He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.” Revelation 3:12 (NKJV)

“The only way to separate truth from false doctrines is to know someone who knows the truth.”  Who would you say knows the truth?  I don’t know about you but I’d say that “someone,” is Messiah Yeshua “Jesus.”  According to Jesus, in John 17:3 and Revelation 3:12 “My God,” His God is “the only true God.”  With or without the Anthanasian Creed, Jesus’ God is “the only true God.”

Since these things Jesus spoke are accessible in the [Bible], for all peoples of the world to see, I would take time to [learn] know more about Him.  If there was ever a “someone” that we might learn from, regarding who the God of the [Bible] is for one, it’s Messiah Yeshua “Jesus.”  He will show you the truth.

As one who loves Jesus, and who’s not ashamed to tell others about Him, I say it’ll be profitable to your soul to “investigate” the matter more closely.  As I have come to know, and believe, Jesus died on a cross for the sin of the world.  The eternal destiny of one’s soul hangs in the balance, no exceptions.  To [believe in] accept what Jesus accomplished in the first century, is the only way to escape hell’s fire.  If “someone” were to come along and say different, don’t treat them as one who knows the truth.

A Demonstration of Love

Let’s say that a person has just accepted [believed in] Jesus as their personal Savior that is saved according to the [Scriptures].  I would want to tell that new believer to beware of others saying you can’t be saved, unless you believe “religious” things that are additions to what has been clearly laid out for us in the [Bible].  For followers of the Anthanasian Creed, for example, being saved solely according to the [Scriptures] isn’t a sure thing, because the Anthanasian Creed forces them to believe a flawed version of God’s plan of salvation.  They won’t see it that way but as long as they continue to lift up the Anthanasian Creed, that’s the way it will be.

There’s a good reason for there being no evidence of anyone in the [Bible] preparing the way for “The Son is God.”  “The Son is God” solely belongs to the Anthanasian Creed.  It doesn’t matter how one comes to learn about the Anthanasian Creed.  If they should choose to believe it, they’ll be found guilty of adding onto what Jesus accomplished in the first century.  You can’t teach the Anthanasian Creed properly, without saying, unless one believes “the Son is God” he or she “cannot be saved.”  You won’t find this anywhere, in Jesus’ teachings.

When you stray from [Biblical] truths, you’ll be leaving yourself wide open to believe anything.  You can’t be any more or less saved than the moment you accept [believe in] Jesus as your personal Savior.  Things like the Anthanasian Creed that add onto what has been clearly laid out for us in the [Bible], “religious” things, entered into the picture after the fact.

Use the word of God to defend your belief, [whatever] it may be.  It has the final say.  That’s not my opinion, it’s a demonstration of love my friends.

Irrefutably Clear

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV)

The Anthanasian Creed is of this world.  It adds onto what Jesus accomplished in the first century and what is documented in the [Bible].  Jesus makes it irrefutably clear, His God and Father and His brethren’s God and Father are one and the same.  “Go to My brethren and say to them, I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.”  The writers and followers of the Anthanasian Creed however, cannot leave this [Biblical] fact as is.  They add their own interpretation and criteria to God’s plan of salvation.  The Anthanasian Creed is the problem here, and it is always wrong to say/believe it is sound doctrine.

“Go to My brethren and say to them, I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God” tells us that true followers of Jesus and Jesus Himself, have the same God and Father.

The Anthanasian Creed leaves John 20:17 open for a discussion that was never intended.  The Anthanasian Creed implies that true followers of Jesus and Jesus Himself, can’t have the same God and Father.  John 20:17 tells us that our relationship with “My God and your God” is the same as Jesus’, but if Jesus is God as the Anthanasian Creed states, then His relationship can’t be the same as ours.  The [Bible] gives no reason to believe John 20:17 is open for discussion.  It does however prove the Anthanasian Creed, is flawed.

What Jesus accomplished in the first century is the only thing that matters.  Remove the writings of those not mentioned in the [Bible], and leave the [Bible] well enough alone.  We’ll still have the free will to believe the [Bible], or reject it all together for that matter, but it will always be wrong to reject Messiah Yeshua “Jesus.”  In the end, there’s only two choices, to believe or reject what has been clearly laid out for us in the [Bible].  Choose wisely.

What is This Doctrine of The Trinity?

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” 1 Peter 1:3 (NKJV)

In the name of Him making he who overcomes a pillar in the temple of His God, Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.  See Revelation 3:12 (NKJV)

By the grace of God, I know just enough about God’s plan of salvation.  Enough to know that it is Satan’s plan to get me to distrust it.  I [believe in] accept what Jesus accomplished in the first century.  I am a born again, true follower of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus.”  I [believe] accept, Satan has a 0% chance of snatching me away from Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” the Son of God, because the [Bible] tells me so.

Recently I was given four examples, as to why one should [believe] accept the Anthanasian Creed’s explanation of the true God and true Jesus Christ.  They are examples that [only] a follower of the Anthanasian Creed would say, that believing them are essential to one’s salvation.

Here are these four examples:

“The triune nature of God.”

“The eternality and deity of Jesus Christ and His humanity.”

“The begotten nature of Jesus.”

“The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.”

If you’ve spent any time at all on this blog, you’d know I reject the Anthanasian Creed altogether.

For those [believing in] accepting what Jesus accomplished in the first century, born again, true followers of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus.”  If the Anthanasian Creed never existed at all, would you still be saved?  I say, “Yes!”

If you’re confessing Jesus is the Son of God, the Lord and the Savior of your life, but believing that you wouldn’t be saved if rejecting the Anthanasian Creed altogether, you’re standing in a crossroad.  The roads before you are the [Bible] and, the writings of those not mentioned in the [Bible].  The decision that needs to be made as to which road to take is between you and the all-knowing God of the [Bible].

It is my obligation to tell you that sometime after choosing to believe in Jesus Christ, it is likely that you’ve mistaken the writings of those not mentioned in the [Bible] for the [Bible].  The person confessing Jesus is the Son of God, the Lord and the Savior of their life, is saved.

Some believe that this person is not saved without first believing the Anthanasian Creed, something that surfaced and became doctrine of the Catholic Church in 325-AD.  These are followers of the Anthanasian Creed.  For the past sixteen hundred plus year’s, people have been led to believe the only way to salvation is found in the Anthanasian Creed, when the writings of those found in the [Bible] say differently.

It’s Sunday.  A man enters the local church.  He’s in town on business and hasn’t been seen inside a church for over fifty years, except for weddings and funerals.  If you knew this man you’d say, he’s not interested in hearing about the [Bible].  He’s greeted by many, but remains a stranger to them.

The message he heard that day was taken straight from the [Bible], believe in Jesus Christ and you will be saved.  Unbeknownst to those present that day the man wasn’t saved, when he entered the church that is.

Praise God, before the entire congregation, the man confessed to being a sinner, thanked Jesus for dying on a cross for him, and now believes in Jesus Christ.  If I was present that day, I’d say this man is saved.

After church the man was invited to lunch, an opportunity to celebrate the moment.  During this time he mentioned that he was in town for another week, and would like to get together again.  “There’s a [Bible] study on Wednesday night,” they said.  With great joy, he accepts the invitation.

It’s Wednesday.  For the first time this born again believer in Jesus Christ heard, unless one believes the doctrine of the “Trinity” they cannot be saved.  Confused, the man says, “Am I saved?  Sunday’s message opened my eyes as to who Jesus is, what He did for me.  It changed my life.  All I want to do now is tell people about Jesus.  What is this doctrine of the trinity?”

As one who loves Jesus, and who’s not ashamed to tell others about Him, I say nothing has caused more people to turn away from [Biblical] truths to false teachings, than the Anthanasian Creed.  The Anthanasian Creed doesn’t exists at all, and thus the doctrine of the trinity, if not for the writings of those not mentioned in the [Bible].

Rejects The Anthanasian Creed Altogether

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.

I’ve sent this question to many.  If I gave you the names of those that I have sent it to over a period of three years, you’d recognize the majority of them.

Here’s my question:

Would you say the person confessing Jesus is the Son of God, the Lord and the Savior of their life, saved according to the [Scriptures], and rejects the Anthanasian Creed altogether, is saved?

By saying “rejects the Anthanasian Creed altogether” I mean, treat the Anthanasian Creed as if it never existed at all.  As one who loves Jesus, and who’s not ashamed to tell others about Him, I say the person is saved.

The Anthanasian Creeds False Method of Salvation

Grace, mercy, and truth will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. 2 John 3 (NKJV)

In the name of Him who God sent to be the propitiation for our sins, Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.  See 1 John 4:8-11 (NKJV)

Would you say the person confessing Jesus is the Son of God, the Lord and the Savior of their life, saved according to the [Scriptures], and rejects the Anthanasian Creed altogether, is saved?

Praise God!  I received an answer to my question above.  It wasn’t the “Yes the person is saved” or “No the person is not saved” answer I was looking for but this individual, who shall remain nameless, was well versed on the Anthanasian Creed itself.

After thanking me for the question, this individual wrote, “Creeds certainly do not save anyone and there have been many true believers throughout history who likely never heard of any creed, let alone the Anthanasian Creed.”  This brought a [huge] smile to my face, because the Anthanasian Creed claims “you cannot be saved” unless you believe the Anthanasian Creed.  According to the Anthanasian Creed, what Jesus accomplished in the first century falls short of God’s plan of salvation.  There is no way around it.

I answered this question above, saying, “The person” is saved.  Knowing this, the individual went on to say, “To [reject] is different from [not understanding entirely] or [being confused about something].”  This implies that I can’t be saved until I place the care of my salvation in the hands of those [supposedly] having clear understanding of the Anthanasian Creed.

The individual gave four examples that attempt to clarify “reject” from “not understanding.”  They went onto say, “If one were to reject altogether the Anthanasian Creed, especially those components mentioned above, and what it says about Jesus, there would be serious concerns about what they did indeed believe and whether they were saved.”

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”  John 3:16 (NKJV)

I say “whoever believes in” Jesus, according to the [Scriptures], is saved.  The Anthanasian Creed is something that adds onto what Jesus accomplished in the first century.  Simply put, it is replacement theology.

I know the Anthanasian Creed had absolutely nothing to do with the salvation of my soul.  Even though it brings to light things mentioned in the [Bible], Jesus’ death burial and resurrection for example, the Anthanasian Creeds “false method of salvation” never should have made its way into the twenty first century.

Use Jesus' Teachings

In the name of Him who makes us kings and priests to His God and Father, Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.  See Revelation 1:6 (NKJV)

As I listened to the local “Christian” radio station a follower of the Anthanasian Creed said, in their effort to prove the existence of a place named hell, “Jesus being God knows.”  The speaker on the radio cited Jesus’ teachings, how they show such a place exists.  I agree with the speaker on this second point.  Using Jesus’ teachings to settle whatever is in question, is by far the safest thing to do.

“Jesus being God knows” implies, that as God, Jesus would know all things.  Believers and nonbelievers alike are free to [believe] say whatever they like about Jesus.  I pray they use Jesus’ teachings to settle the matter, in this case Jesus knowing all things.

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV)         

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” Mark 13:32 (NKJV)

Jesus “nor the Son,” doesn’t know “that day and hour.”  Jesus does know “My God” His God and “My Father” His Father who does know “that day and hour,” “but only the Father.”  One doesn’t have to believe this to be saved but the practice of leaving Scripture well enough alone, is a hint to [believing in] accepting what Jesus accomplished in the first century, that is saved according to the [Scriptures].

On the other hand to say one must believe “Jesus being God knows,” Jesus is God, to be saved, is a sure fire sign of followers of the Anthanasian Creed meddling with God’s plan of salvation that has been clearly laid out for us in the [Bible].

There’s no [Biblical] evidence of anyone having to believe that Jesus, the Son of God, is God, to be saved.  The Anthanasian Creed is the problem here and the sooner it’s seen as man’s will being done, concerning the salvation of one’s soul, the better.
