The Blood of Jesus will Always Be Enough

I just spent some time on the internet, scrolling through one person after another’s “understanding” of the Anthanasian Creed.

Do we [really] know who wrote the Anthanasian Creed?  How about when it was written?  With the Anthanasian Creed saying the only way to salvation is found in it, you’d think there’d be some consistency amongst those that have chosen to believe it.  Not so.  I wasn’t surprised by anything I found.  It’ll be safe to say the majority of those believing the Anthanasian Creed, have yet to read it for themselves.

As a comparison, I have no clue as to who wrote the book of Hebrews, but I do know it’s in the [Bible], and thus is trustworthy.  If I were asked to “guess,” I’d say Mary, the mother of Jesus, at the very least, was an eyewitness to the writing of the book of Hebrews.  You’ll not hear me saying unless one believes Mary wrote the book of Hebrews they cannot be saved.

Some say the Anthanasian Creed “explains” God’s plan of salvation.  I wouldn’t give it a second thought, if I were you.  The Anthanasian Creed is a prime example of replacement theology. 

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8 (NKJV)

While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard, “Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever.”  The speaker on the radio quoted Hebrews 13:8.  The speaker is a follower of the Anthanasian Creed. 

Followers of the Anthanasian Creed have been led to believe “the same yesterday, today, and forever” is referring to “the Son is God,” when nothing could be further from the truth.  The fact of the matter is, without the Anthanasian Creed “the Son is God” doesn’t exist.  If you’re going to say something is “the same yesterday, today, and forever,” shouldn’t it be something that doesn’t change?

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” Mark 13:32 (NKJV)

In order for the Anthanasian Creeds “the Son is God” to survive, it has to change.  Unlike the Anthanasian Creed, Hebrews 13:8 and Mark 13:32 are trustworthy.  “Nor the Son” Messiah Yeshua “Jesus” doesn’t know “that day and hour.”  “That day and hour” is referring to Messiah Yeshua’s second coming.

According to the Anthanasian Creed, “the Son is God.”  The words “the Son is God” however, aren’t in the [Bible].   Although followers of the creed won’t admit to it because “the Son is God” is a must have for them.  The 100% “God and Man not being two but one Messiah” which is directly linked to the Anthanasian Creed, is the only thing that supports “the Son is God.”  Jesus is the Son of God, and He’s “the same yesterday, today, and forever.”

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV)

Jesus doesn’t know all-things.  He won’t know of “that day and hour” until “My Father (John 20:17),” His Father reveals it to Him.  Jesus “is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”   If you teach Jesus and the Anthanasian Creeds “the Son is God” are one and the same, you’re saying Jesus “is God” doesn’t know “that day and hour.”  With or without the Anthanasian Creed “My God (John 20:17),” Jesus’ God knows all things.

The Anthanasian Creed is man-made not inspired.  It’s hearsay at best and can only be traced back to the “fourth” or “fifth” century, depending on who you’re listening to.  I’m sticking with, 325-AD.  Either way the day before it was [first] made known to the public back then, “yesterday,” one didn’t have to believe [or else] “the Son is God” to be saved.

What they have is a plan of salvation, not found in the [Bible].  When it comes to God’s plan of salvation the blood of Jesus will, and will always be enough, which is to say “yesterday, today, and forever.”

God Knows

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” 1 Peter 1:3 (NKJV)

If you believe Jesus is the same as the Anthanasian Creeds “the Son is God,” you’re saying God has not told the whole truth.  You might not see it that way because you’ve chosen to believe things that just aren’t true, but it’s true.  In order to make Jesus the same as “the Son is God,” one would have say God didn’t mean what He said at specific events that took place concerning God and, Jesus.

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV)

And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” John 17:3 (NKJV)

“You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions.” Hebrews 1:9 (NKJV)

According to John 17:3 and 20:17, “My God” Jesus’ God is “the only true God.”  In Hebrews 1:9, “Therefore God,” Jesus’ “God, has anointed” Jesus “with the oil of gladness more than” Jesus’ “companions” settles the matter.  Jesus knows God “the only true God,” is His God.

Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.’” Exodus 3:15 (NKJV)

God knows that Jesus knows “the only true God, the God of Abraham, Isaac,” and “Jacob,” is Jesus’ God.  It is [Biblically] impossible to prove otherwise.  “Therefore God, Your God,” is more than sufficient enough evidence as is.

Many false teachings have surfaced, since the Anthanasian Creeds believe it [or else] false method of salvation was birthed in 325-AD.  As examples of it being so, let’s first look at how John 14:9 and 6:46 are misinterpreted. 

Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?” John 14:9 (NKJV)

“Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father.” John 6:46 (NKJV)

Some believe Jesus claimed to be God when He said, “He who has seen Me has seen the Father.”  Jesus also said, “Not that anyone has seen the Father...”  If you would take the time to read John 14:9 and 10 for yourself, you’d find Jesus was explaining that Phillip could see the Father through the works being done through Jesus.  In other words you can see the essence of God through the works of someone who loves God and lives according to His purpose.  Get rid of the Anthanasian Creed, problem solved.

Next we’ll examine John 8:24 and 28.

“Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe I am He, you will die in your sins.”  John 8:24

Then Jesus said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things.” John 8:28 (NKJV)

Some believe that “If you don’t believe I am He” refers to Jesus saying He is God.  If you’d continue reading through to John 8:28, you’d find Jesus isn’t claiming to be God in John in 8:24 but saying who “He” is, “the Son of Man.”

Finally, Isaiah 9:6 is also used as evidence that Jesus and the Anthanasian Creeds “the Son is God” are one and the same.

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 (NKJV)

“And He shall stand and feed His flock in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord His God.” Micah 5:4 (NKJV)

“And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, ‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass.’” Revelation 2:18 (NKJV)

There’s a significant difference between “His name will be called” and, He is.  The person calling Jesus “Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace,” is fulfilling Isaiah’s prophecy.  It does not define who Jesus is. 

The “Child” that’s mentioned in Isaiah 9:6, is going to “stand and feed His flock in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord His God.”  That “Child” is Jesus, “the Son of God (Revelation 2:18).”  “The Son of God” Jesus knows “the God of Abraham, Isaac” and “Jacob” is, “His God.”

“And has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” Apostle John is speaking of Jesus here in Revelation 1:6 (NKJV)

The [Biblical] evidence does not support the Anthanasian Creeds claim that Jesus and “the Son is God” are one and the same.  Obviously God knows “His God” in Micah 5:4 and Revelation 1:6 are referring to Jesus’ God.

The follower of the Anthanasian Creed needs to consider the possibility that the inspired word of God is more than sufficient enough as is before putting the care of their salvation in the hands of those not mentioned in the [Bible].

Jesus Christ and Him Crucified

And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. 1 Corinthians 2:1-2 (NKJV)

In a world bent on silencing [Biblical] truths, including within the walls of earthly institutions called “church,” the safest thing to do is to focus on the only thing that matters, “Jesus Christ and Him crucified.”

If someone was to come along and mention Jesus’ name, identify Him as the one that died on a cross for the sin of the world, and then link Him to something you’re not familiar with, would you automatically assume what they said is [Biblically] sound?  I wouldn’t.

How about something you are familiar with, for example the doctrine of the “Trinity”?  Would you say it’s [Biblically] sound knowing it’s based on the writings of those not mentioned in the [Bible]?  The doctrine of the “Trinity” is a byproduct of the Anthanasian Creed, which surfaced and became doctrine of the Catholic Church in 325-AD.  I wouldn’t link it to anything pertaining to “Jesus Christ and Him crucified.”

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not looking to force anyone into believing anything here.  I’m saying the salvation of my soul totally depends on believing, “Jesus Christ and Him crucified.”  That’s the Jesus I’m talking about and the [Bible] tells me everything I need to know, about Him.

People can choose to believe whatever they like, they have the freedom to do so.  I’m interested in whether or not they’ve chosen to believe in “Jesus Christ and Him crucified.”  This keeps me focused on exposing the Anthanasian Creed for what it is, a false doctrine. 

I don’t want them to hear any longer that the only way for them to be saved is found in the writings of those not mentioned in the [Bible].  The Anthanasian Creeds having to believe [or else] “the Son is God” to be saved method of salvation, is not [Biblically] sound.  It keeps people from seeing that believing in Jesus, the Son of God, which is to say according to the [Scriptures], is sufficient.

The Final Confession

“That you may with one mind and with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 15:6 (NKJV)

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.

Would you say the person confessing Jesus is the Son of God, the Lord and the Savior of their life, and rejects the Anthanasian Creed altogether, is saved?  I would.

The question presents a serious problem, for the follower of the Anthanasian Creed.  It doesn’t matter how they answer it, the Anthanasian Creed winds up on the wrong end of the truth every time.  To say that person is saved, is to say the Anthanasian Creed has absolutely nothing to with the salvation of one’s soul.  To say that person is not saved, is to say the salvation of one’s soul totally depends on the writings of those not mentioned in the [Bible].  It’s simple, the follower of the Anthanasian Creed is left with having to explain how something they say is the inspired word of God, the [Bible], is not the whole truth. 

“This is the catholic (Christian) faith; which except you believe faithfully and firmly, you cannot be saved.” The last sentence of the Anthanasian Creed.

Nowhere in the [Bible] does it say unless one believes Jesus is God they cannot be saved.  It’s the Anthanasian Creed that’s saying unless one believes “the Son is God,” they “cannot be saved.”  Don’t confuse the Anthanasian Creeds “the Son is God,” for the [Biblical] Jesus.  The last entry of the New Testament was written near the end of the first century.  In those writings we do not find anyone having to believe the Anthanasian Creed to be saved as this doctrine of the Catholic Church didn’t surface until 325-AD.

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.  1 John 4:15 (NKJV)

There’s every reason to believe the person making their final confession just prior to taking their last breathe here on earth, that “Jesus is the Son of God,” will be saved.  The New Testament includes this very example of a final confession by the thief on the cross.

Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.” And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.” Luke 23:42-43 (NKJV)

Does anyone [really] believe the thief had to believe the Anthanasian Creeds “the Son is God,” before Jesus could say “today you shall be with Me in Paradise.” 

Taking it one step further because we know the thief was crucified next to Jesus, the “you cannot be saved” penalty for rejecting the Anthanasian Creed altogether didn’t apply to him.

I’ve heard it all my friends.  Followers of that creed believe they have the answers to everything pertaining, to it.  What they fail to see is that what they have is solely based on the writings of those not mentioned in the [Bible].  

People can say whatever they like about the [Bible], they’re free to do so.  To give the impression that one [must] believe the writings of those not mentioned in it, to be saved, I wouldn’t do that if I were you.  The safest thing one could do, is allow the inspired word of God to speak for itself.  Where the [Bible] is handled correctly which is to say according to the [Scriptures], God’s increase abounds.

Nothing About Salvation Has Changed

“That you may with one mind and with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 15:6 (NKJV)

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.

Then Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.” They immediately left their nets and followed Him. Mark 1:17-18 (NKJV)

We, individually, have a choice to make.  “Follow” the biblical Jesus which leads to salvation, or someone else’s idea of Him.  When Jesus said “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men,” He’s saying that He will take these men as they are and will help them take advantage of their past in order to help others come to Him.  “They immediately left their nets and followed Him.”  How does one follow someone else’s idea of Jesus?  They choose to trust and believe the teachings of others.  You’d think at this point I’m referring to those that do not attend a local “church,” unfortunately, that’s not the case.

Don’t confuse earthly institutions called “church,” for the [Church] Body of Jesus Christ.  The Body of Jesus Christ is not confined by walls or membership.  It is a population of people who choose to “follow” and not stray from the teachings of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus”. 

If it agrees with Yeshua’s teachings, a [Biblical] truth it will be.  If it requires the writings of those not mentioned in the [Bible] to make it so, man’s understanding of [Scripture] is all it’ll amount to.  The gospel of Jesus Christ is more than sufficient enough as is, which is to say, believe in [Scripture] alone.

Now more than ever there are more books, apps, blogs, podcasts, and speakers that are intended to share the message of Jesus Christ.  We have easy access to it everywhere.  The easier it is to hear/believe man’s understanding of [Scripture], the less likely it will be for one to seek the truth for themselves.  When it concerns [Biblical] matters, get in the [Bible] and read of it for yourself.

If you’re interested in telling others about Jesus, give it to them straight from the [Bible].  God’s increase is guaranteed every time you do.  The person relying on man’s interpretation is saying the [Bible] isn’t trustworthy as is, and thus doesn’t believe the God of the [Bible] knows, hears and sees, all things.  Those who believe the writings of those not mentioned in [Bible] and say the only way to be saved is found in them, might seem trustworthy, I wouldn’t believe it.

Nothing about salvation has changed, between [Biblical] times and today.  Your confidence in man’s understanding of the [Scriptures] can’t save you only believing in the [Biblical] Jesus can.

The Father and God of Christ

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.

And the keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself. But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, “Do yourself no harm, for we are all here.”

Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Acts 16:27-31 (NKJV)

If “what must I do to be saved” involves the Anthanasian Creed, “the keeper of the prison” was in the wrong place and at the wrong time, doomed.  The Anthanasian Creed surfaced and became doctrine of the Catholic Church in, 325-AD.  Neither “the keeper of the prison, Paul” or “Silas,” had to believe [or else] the Anthanasian Creeds “the Son is God” to be saved.  The Anthanasian Creed has absolutely nothing to do with God’s plan of salvation, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.”

While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard, “The handwriting is on the wall, Christians need to teach Christians.”  The speaker on the radio made it perfectly clear, Christians shouldn’t send their children to public schools.  The speaker is a follower of the Anthanasian Creed. 

Followers of that creed need to more open about their system of belief because “the handwriting is on the wall.”  Proving wrong the Anthanasian Creeds having to believe [or else] “the Son is God” to be saved false method of salvation, won’t be a problem. 

If you’re going to teach the Anthanasian Creed, leave it standing on its own.   

If you’ve attended seminary, left it believing the Anthanasian Creed is [Biblically] sound, you’re just one of the many that have chosen to ignore [Biblical] truths.  If it be the case you shouldn’t be encouraging others to believe, it’s the “Christian” thing to do.

What you’re about to read is taken straight from a conversation I had via E-mail, with a follower of the Anthanasian Creed.  The blank space is intentional, the name of the individual I sent it to isn’t the issue here.  The individual does believe “Sacred Scripture” and “Sacred Tradition” which is nothing more than the writings of those not mentioned in the [Bible], not [Scripture] alone.

“We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you.” Colossians 1:3 (NKJV)

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” 1 Peter 1:3 (NKJV)

_____, using “Sacred Scripture” and/or “Sacred Tradition” alone, please explain how these three verses make the [Biblical] Jesus and the Anthanasian Creeds “the Son is God” one and the same?  The key words are “the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ” and “to His God and Father.”

The follower of the Anthanasian Creeds response:

“I see and accept that there are a multiple of verses which refer to the Father as the Father and God of Christ. I see why at on perspective this might suggest that Christ is not divine. The logic seems to be that to say the Father is the God of Christ suggest Christ is not divine because one wouldn’t say God has a God; otherwise there wouldn’t be God.”

As you can see the follower of the Anthanasian Creed admits, “I see and accept that there are a multiple of verses which refer to the Father as the Father and God of Christ.” 

The follower of the Anthanasian Creed took it one step further, saying, “I see why at on perspective this might suggest that Christ is not divine. The logic seems to be that to say the Father is the God of Christ suggest Christ is not divine because one wouldn’t say God has a God; otherwise there wouldn’t be God.”

Followers of the Anthanasian Creed are good at one thing, clinging to the writings of those not mentioned in the [Bible].  The issue isn’t with“this might suggest that Christ is not divine,” or “The logic seems to be that to say the Father is the God of Christ.”  The Anthanasian Creed forces people to believe that without it they can’t be saved, and that’s a problem.

Christ is God Can't be Done

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.” Ephesians 1:17 (NKJV)

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.

The bible is preached today but not with [Scripture].  For those that believe the Anthanasian Creed, their so called “biblical truths” are nothing more than the writings of those not mentioned in the [Bible].  Followers of that creed won’t see it that way but there’s no other way to explain what didn’t exist prior to 325-AD; the Anthanasian Creeds that one has method of salvation having to believe [or else] “the Son is God” to be saved.  Don’t confuse the all-knowing God of the [Bible] with the Anthanasian Creeds “the Son is God,” for nothing could be further from the truth.

Would you say Jesus knows all things, after reading “nor the Son” in Mark 13:32?  I wouldn’t.  How about the Anthanasian Creeds 100% “God and Man, the Son is God,” would you say it is possible for the Son to be 100% God but not know 100% of what God knows?  I wouldn’t.  It is [Biblically] impossible for the all-knowing God of the [Bible] to not know all things, 100% of the time.

Would you say the person confessing “Jesus is the Son of God,” and the Lord and the Savior of their life, and rejects the Anthanasian Creed altogether, is saved?  I would.  I know the Anthanasian Creed has absolutely nothing to do with the salvation of one’s soul.  Unfortunately there is many a local “church” that requires one to believe the Anthanasian Creed to become a “member.”

“I have manifested Your Name to the men You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.” John 17:6 (NKJV)

And you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s. 1 Corinthians 3:23 (NKJV)

Just as “They were Yours” is crystal clear, “You gave them to Me” is as well.  True followers of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” those that “have kept Your word,” were known by God, and were in God, but were separated from Him with Adam and Eve’s fall in the Garden of Eden.  Everything was meant to be God’s but He knew people were going to fail, so it was necessary for Him to give us to Jesus as a means to return to Him.

How about “you are Christ’s” and “Christ is God’s,” would you say the writers of John 17:6 and 1 Corinthians 3:23, John and Paul, who happen to be true followers of Messiah Yeshua are “Christ’s”?  I would.  How about Jesus, is there ever a time when He’s not “God’s”?  I wouldn’t give it a second thought if I were you. 

I realize how easy it would be to mistake “Christ is God’s” in 1 Corinthians 3:23, for Jesus is God.  Jesus is the Christ which is to say, Messiah.  Ignoring the [‘s] in “Christ is God’s” to make it “Christ is God” can’t be done.  The verse is correct as written.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us as to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. Ephesians 1:3-6 (NKJV)

Let’s cut to the chase, the Anthanasian Creed is a prime example of replacement theology.  God’s plan of salvation is available for all to see in the [Bible].  It is more than sufficient enough as is, and should be treated that way.
