Bible Believing Church?

If you’re looking for a church where teaching contrary to Scripture is frowned on, pick any one. It’s what they all have in common. I’ve come to find that even when the biblical evidence shows that some of their teachings are contrary to Scripture, those attending said church will tell you, it’s a Bible believing church. Let’s all speak well of Christ Jesus, according to the Scriptures, in church, and outside the church. Just as going to church doesn’t make one a follower of Christ Jesus, not going to church doesn’t make them doomed to hell’s fire either. When Jesus comes again, and He will, you want to be found believing in Him according to the Scriptures and not according to man’s interpretation of them. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Penned Well Before AD 325

Prior to any debate concerning the rationality behind the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God,” there’s something you should know about Jesus. John 20:17 (NKJV) says “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” If not for its clarity, one could say they’ve found evidence of “the Son is God” in the Bible today. Fortunately, because everything Jesus spoke, as laid out for us in the Bible, speaks against “the Son is God.” Therefore, “the Son is God” can be put to rest. An Honest Outlook

Have you ever thought about the many ways Jesus is looked at these days? From being seen as a fictitious character by some, to being God by others. What’s keeping people from having an honest outlook of who Jesus is? One can point to a number of things that keep them from believing in Christ Jesus, but to remain as a nonbeliever, they only have themselves to blame. Known By Jesus

In John 10:27 (NKJV) Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” In John 20:17 (NKJV), “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” After reading these words Jesus said, would you say the gospel proclaims “them” known by Jesus as “My sheep,” followers of Jesus, have the same God and Father as Jesus? I’ll continue proclaiming Jesus not only ascended to His God and Father, but to the God and Father of “them,” followers of Jesus as well. Just a thought, if supporters from AD 325 of what’s known to us today as the Anthanasian Creed could read this particular post for themselves, do you think they’d be proclaiming Jesus not only ascended to His God and Father, but to the God and Father of “them,” followers of Jesus as well?
