From One Believer To Another

From One Believer to Another

If this is your first time visiting this blog, “Welcome!”

As you read, I pray you’ll not see me as being angry at anyone. Firm at times with some, I’ll agree with that. I know that no matter what a person has gone through, things they’ve said or done, or still doing for that matter, there’s a 50/50 chance of my having sought forgiveness for doing the exact same thing at one time or another. I know the battle is not against flesh and blood my friend.

Throughout this blog you will find me quoting things heard on the radio. You’ll not find the names of those who said these things in the posts. I do document their names, the date, time, and radio station call sign on my copy of the original document. I do not publish these details because our mission should be to expose the false teachings not to personally attack the person.

If you should continue reading my friend, you will find the Anthanasian Creed being exposed for what it is, a false doctrine. The word of God having the final say. My trusting in He who knows hears and sees all things, the God of the [Bible].

If what you believe/confess embraces the doctrines of men, then it is time you start trusting solely in the Bible. The Bible is divine. When we add the doctrines of men, this is a sign that we think the Bible is insufficient. The truth is, it was meant to stand alone, just as it is. The doctrines of men are pointless when it comes to your salvation. In the end, it is only your belief in the Biblical Jesus that saves you.

I encourage you to look closely at Mark 13:32 NKJV: “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” “Nor the Son” as laid out for us in the Bible, refers to the Son of God “Jesus.” The Bible is the only textbook you should draw from, if the aim is to teach the Bible correctly. How an omniscient God cannot know “that day and hour,” is total nonsense, and should cause you to see that Jesus is not God.

What do you really believe about Jesus? How much of what you believe about Jesus relies on your own understanding vs what’s actually written in the Bible? I believe Jesus is the Christ “Messiah,” the Son of God. You can never go wrong by believing and teaching Jesus is the Son of God. It’s right there in the Bible, Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 1 John 4:15 (NKJV) The Anthanasian Creed has gone beyond what the Scriptures tell us. To trust the Anthanasian Creed, one would have to rely on man’s understanding. There’s not a single story in the Bible about anyone having to believe “the Son is God” to be saved. The Anthanasian Creed added onto what Jesus accomplished in the first century when it declared one has to believe “the Son is God” to be saved. The closing words of the Anthanasian Creed are clear, unless one believes [everything] documented in the Anthanasian Creed one “cannot be saved.” There’s a 0% chance of convincing me that I’m not saved according to the Scriptures, because I rely on the Bible being the inspired word of God. As laid out for us in the Bible, Jesus did for me what no one else could do.

One’s personal testimony will differ from one believer to the next, because as we follow the same Christ our callings differ, but no one has to believe the writings of those not mentioned in the Bible to be saved. What kind of message would the Bible be sending, if it sanctions adding things onto what Jesus accomplished in the first century? As one who loves Jesus, I would say it would not be a thoughtful one.

I’ll be contradicting everything the Bible teaches, if I only see people for who their enemies make them out to be.

If what’s being said about Jesus is as laid out for us in the Bible, the story will be told with 100% accuracy. Look at Micah 5:4 NKJV where it says Jesus “shall stand and feed His flock in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord His God.” Don’t forget this part of Jesus’ story, because it shows Jesus’ God and the all-knowing God of the Bible are one and the same.

Undisciplined teachers should come to their right mind, when they’re confronted with the truth. Teaching Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, will always be the truth.

Do we look beyond Jesus’ teachings, to the writings of those not mentioned in the Bible, for what’s relevant today? The Bible tells us not to. Why would we think the doctrines of men are relevant today? I wouldn’t give it a second thought if I were you. Look at John 7:16 NKJV where it says Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me.” The inspired word of God endures forever and is relevant at all times. Not until all Bible carrying believers [willingly] separate themselves from the doctrines of men, will the world see the relevance of calling oneself a true follower of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus.”

Beware of folks’ that don’t respect the Bible, because they’ll have a different approach as to who Jesus is. All that one needs to know about Jesus, is to be taken straight from the Bible. Man’s understanding of the Scriptures, is simply that, man’s understanding. Their addition to what has been clearly laid out for us in the Bible and their commentary are, not a main thing. Anyone can infer the Bible to say/mean whatever they like but only by [believing in] accepting Jesus, according to the Scriptures, saves them. Whether you know Jesus already or have yet to come to believe in Him, beware of folks’ that don’t respect the Bible. My prayer is for all you to come to know Jesus just as the Bible intends. Only then will the Bible receive the respect it deserves.

Would the world be better off without the doctrines of men? There should be no differences between what Jesus said, and the teachings of those who are saved according to the Scriptures. What was good for Jesus’ disciples in the first century, is good for His followers today. These things that Jesus said, are available for all to read in the Bible. The greatest error in interpreting Scripture is substitution of having to believe man’s understanding of the Scriptures to be saved, for God’s plan of salvation. Don’t expect others to teach the Bible properly. For those that don’t, what’s contrary to God, intends to take you down. False teachers are really good at understating the Bible, to the point of steering born again believers in Christ to believing in false doctrines. Jesus’ teachings need to be taught as fact and as not man’s understanding of them. This in of itself keeps one from having to defend false teachings. There is no salvation when you rely on man’s interpretation of Scriptures. As for me, I want to make sure I know Jesus, and that I am ready to meet Him. Those confessing to be saved according to the Scriptures, should align themselves with what has been clearly laid out for us in the Bible. Followers of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus” are to reach the world, according to the Scriptures. There’s no need to reform the Bible. Leaving it well enough alone is the safest thing to do. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 (NKJV) God made this salvation message simple. There is no need to offer a different perspective. Two people, one that accepts Jesus just prior to them taking their last breathe here on earth and the other believing in Christ Jesus for ten years, are both saved according to the Scriptures. Don’t let anyone/anything cause you to doubt your salvation. If you get Jesus wrong, you can’t blame the Bible. When you [really] give thought to what Jesus accomplished in the first century, and choose to accept God’s plan of salvation, then it makes perfect sense not to rely on man’s understanding of the Scriptures for your salvation. There is no debate, when it comes to how one treats the Bible. They’ll either leave it well enough alone as is, or they won’t. The world would be better off if the Bible was taught properly, trustworthy as is. If it was, there’d be no need for the doctrines of men.

Imagine many people gathered together to hear a debate on the relevancy of the Anthanasian Creed. I will speak on the irrelevancy of the Anthanasian Creed and the [speaker] defender of the Anthanasian Creed, on its behalf. This debate is to last one hour, as agreed on beforehand, with each side having thirty minutes to present their case. Being granted the opportunity to speak first, turning to face the audience, I asked all those willing to openly confess that Jesus is the Son of God to raise their hand. With everyone having their hand raised for all to see, turning to face my opponent, I say, as you can see they’re all saved according to the Scriptures. I surrender the remainder of my time to you, in order to give you more time to justify why confessing the Anthanasian Creed is relevant to one’s salvation.
