The Inspired Word of God Can't Be Pushed Aside

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.

In the great number of conversation I’ve had with followers of the Anthanasian Creed one thing is for sure, the majority of them don’t know who Athanasius is.  The fact of the matter is, they have yet to read the Anthanasian Creed for themselves.  They believe and teach a method of salvation having absolutely nothing to do with God’s, and don’t even know who’s behind it all.  The interesting thing here is that if they [did] choose to investigate the matter for themselves, they’d find even those claiming to “have” a clue can’t agree as to who’s behind it.

There’s a good reason for it being called the Anthanasian Creed my friends, someone named Athanasius had something to do with it.  If you listen to the so called “experts,” Athanasius lived to be three hundred years old.  I’ve read that the Anthanasian Creed was written in the fourth, 325-AD to be exact, fifth, or seventh century.  Not three doctrines being one doctrine mind you, but that [it] was [actually] written in one of these three centuries. 

There is a person named Athanasius that is directly linked to the Catholic Church, and lived during the early part of the fourth century.  The majority of evidence available to us today points to this Athanasius being the author of what is known to us today as, the Anthanasian Creed.  The Anthanasian Creed did become the doctrine of the Catholic Church in 325-AD.     

Let’s get this out of the way before moving on, I’m not condemning Athanasius here.  I wasn’t there to hear his final confession, nor any time prior to it for that matter.  Therefore I have no idea what awaited for him concerning his eternal destiny.     

I did a little investigating of my own and found some of the [Mega Christian Ministries] of today don’t see the Anthanasian Creed as a significant doctrine of the “church”.  There was one that referenced that with “new material” surfacing at such a rapid pace these days’ things get pushed aside.  As a firm believer [in] Messiah Yeshua it is my obligation to tell you, without the Anthanasian Creed there’d be [no] doctrine of the “Trinity”.  The last I heard, a person cannot become a “member” of an earthly institution called “church” that’s teaching [this] doctrine, unless they [first] believe it themselves. 

Don’t try to lessen the significance of the Anthanasian Creed, and cling to what can [only] be traced back to it my friends.  You can but you’ll have to face the facts sooner, or later, if you do. 

It doesn’t matter who’s responsible for the Anthanasian Creed or when it was written, it’s a false doctrine.  The doctrine of the “Trinity” [is] a byproduct of [that] creed and proving it won’t be a problem.

The Inspired Word of God Is Sufficient As Is

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,” Apostle Saul (who is also called Paul), Ephesians 1:17 (NKJV)

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.

“Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe I am He, you will die in your sins.”  John 8:24

In the [great] number of conversations I’ve had with followers of the Anthanasian Creed, the words “If you do not believe I am He” in John 8:24 are often said, by them.  They’ll tell you that unless [you] believe “I am He” is referring to God, “you will die in your sins”.  Their goal is to convince others that Messiah Yeshua is claiming to be that “God” in John 8:24.

Having the Son of God and the Anthanasian Creeds “the Son is God” one and the same, is a [must] have for the followers of the Anthanasian Creed.  Their entire system of belief depends on it, even at the expense of the inspired word of God.  According to the Anthanasian Creed, a person “cannot be saved” unless they believe “the Son is God”.

There isn’t any [Biblical] evidence of anyone having to hold off until 325-AD to be told the only way for a person to be [Biblically] saved.  All the evidence one needs to be saved is in the inspired word of God, and it’s trustworthy!

As you’ll soon see, the [Biblical] Yeshua settled the matter not long after He said “if you do not believe I am He, you will die in your sins” (John 8:24), in John 8:28.

Then Jesus said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things.” John 8:28 (NKJV)

It never ceases to amaze me how followers of that creed continue to defend what has to be a [complete] misunderstanding of John 8:24.  After finding out Yeshua identifies [exactly] who “I am He” is in John 8:28, “the Son of Man,” they’ll continue to repeat “If you do not believe I am He, you will die in your sins” over and over, again.

“But as My Father taught Me, I speak these things” in John 8:28, clearly establishes Yeshua’s Father as the source of these things Yeshua spoke.

Can you think of any reason to believe Yeshua’s Father doesn’t know all things, all the time?  You’d have to agree that the [Biblical] evidence points to one thing here, “I am He” in John 8:24 is not referring to the all-knowing God of the [Bible] who happens to be Messiah Yeshua’s Father.

If you’re saying “I am He” is referring to God in John 8:24, and Messiah Yeshua is that “God,” then is the Son of Man the one that taught Messiah Yeshua these things He spoke?  If you’re saying it is, you need to take a [real] close look at the [source] of your system of belief because it can’t be the inspired word of God.

After seeing (by the grace of God) the Anthanasian Creed for what it is, a false doctrine, I didn’t need to alter the inspired word of God in any way.  That thief on the cross, the one with Messiah Yeshua in Paradise (Luke 23:42), he ended up right where Yeshua said he would.  I can’t make it any simpler than that my friends.

If you’re saying the only way to be saved surfaced in 325-AD then what happened to the thief on the cross?

It’s no secret that Yeshua was found speaking to a lot of people, sometimes large crowds and sometimes to just one other, face to face if you will.  If you’ve spent any time at all on this blog, you’ll know my favorite one on one encounter with Messiah Yeshua is found in John 20:17.

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV)

I know that the inspired word of God endures forever.  Here Yeshua is sending “her” Mary Magdalene to His brethren, telling them their God and Father and Yeshua’s God and Father are one and the same, keeps the Anthanasian Creeds “the Son is God” from [ever] becoming Messiah Yeshua who happens to be the Son of God.

In the [great] number of conversations I’ve had with followers of the Anthanasian Creed, showing them how Yeshua’s brethren’s God and Father and Yeshua’s God and Father are one and the same in John 20:17, leaves them with having to change the subject, as fast as they can.  Nothing can be plainer, simpler, or easier to read, than what Yeshua had to say about the one He was ascending to.  You’d have to agree Messiah Yeshua saying “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God,” is [very] convincing.

I can safely say because I actually witnessed it for myself, followers of the Anthanasian Creed want nothing to do with John 20:17.  For them to see it as [Biblically] sound which is exactly what it is, they would have to admit that what they believe to be a truth, “the Son is God,” isn’t true at all.  Typically what they say after hearing what Yeshua said in John 20:17 is, “Unless [you] believe I am He, you will die in your sins”.   We have already pointed out where that will get them.

Don’t think for one second that I’m looking down on followers of the Anthanasian Creed, nothing can be further from the truth.  The battle is not against flesh and blood my friends.  The Anthanasian Creed itself, [is] the problem.

Here’s another one of those one on one encounters with Messiah Yeshua, John 4:21-23. 

Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.”  John 4:21-23 (NKJV)

The [Bible] doesn’t give us “her” name just the words she spoke after hearing the words found in John 4:21-23.  I echo some of them today.

The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming” (who is also called Christ). “When He comes, He will tell us all things.” Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.” John 4:25-26 (NKJV)

To say “I know that Messiah is coming,” is exactly what true followers of Yeshua are to be heard saying today.  Messiah Yeshua [is] coming again.  Followers of the Anthanasian Creed however, they need to take a closer look at who it is that’s saying “I who speak to you am He.”  According to the Anthanasian Creed, there’s a “God and Man” not being two but “one Messiah.”  It’s claiming [this] “Messiah” is “the Son is God,” God.  It too can only be traced back to 325-AD.

Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.”  The inspired word of God tells us the [Biblical] Jesus who happens to be the Son of God, is confessing to be the Messiah in John 4:25-26.

Ask any follower of the Anthanasian Creed if there’s any actual evidence of Yeshua confessing to be God, in the inspired word of God.  They have no choice but to say there isn’t, because there is none to be found.

The words “the Son is God” are not found in the inspired word of God which was completed near the end of the first century.  The method of “salvation” found in Anthanasian Creed was first made known to the public in 325-AD, and its only support comes from those not mentioned in the inspired word of God.  For obvious reasons, some of which you have just read, the inspired word of God cannot support the Anthanasian Creed.

"Whether in pretense or in truth"

If you’re saying there is evidence of the Anthanasian Creeds “the Son is God” in the inspired word of God, there are a couple of things you should consider before teaching your “findings” as [Biblical] truths.  The words “the Son is God” are not found in the inspired word of God.  The existence of “the Son is God,” [totally] depends upon the writings of those not found in the inspired word of God. 

What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice.  Philippians 1:18 (NKJV)

When it comes to “pretense” an unwarranted claim, nothing demonstrates it more than the Anthanasian Creeds [false] method of salvation which surfaced and became the doctrine of the Catholic Church in 325-AD.  It doesn’t take much to figure out what [really] happened in 325-AD my friends. 

Those linked to a “specific” piece of work, having absolutely nothing to do with [Biblical] truths, introduced a [new] method of salvation to the world. 

Nothing can be further from a [Biblical] “truth,” than having to believe [or else] to be [Biblically] saved what was first made known to the public in 325-AD.  I will “yes, and will rejoice,” each and every time I hear Yeshua’s name mentioned (Philippians 1:18), but the inspired word of God will have the final say as to whether or not I accept what’s being said, about Him.

Since I am well aware of what the follower of the Anthanasian Creed will say, that I have chosen to accept an Arian point of view, I’ll bring that to a halt right now.  When it comes to whom it is that I have chosen to follow, the [Biblical] Yeshua “Jesus,” the events that took place in 325-AD do absolutely nothing for me.  The inspired word of God is [crystal] clear concerning the matter, the Son of God and the Anthanasian Creeds “the Son is God” are not one and the same.

The Anthanasian Creed [is] the problem.  It’ll be safe to say there are those that are [Biblically] saved today, and they’re being [forced] to believe the false teachings of those that believe they are not.  For example the concept of a “Trinity” which [is] a byproduct of the Anthanasian Creed.

A [Biblically] saved person isn’t saved because they believed the doctrine of a “Trinity” above all things.  They are saved only by believing what is written in the inspired word of God.  This in itself proves that the Anthanasian Creed has absolutely nothing to do with the salvation of one’s soul.  Without the Anthanasian Creed the so called doctrine of a “Trinity,” isn’t.

Would [you] be accepted by your “peers,” if [you] rejected the Anthanasian Creed, let alone the doctrine of the “Trinity”?       

As some of you know, I listen to the local “Christian” radio station.  When I hear followers of the Anthanasian Creed talking about this so called “biblical” evidence of “the Son is God,” I picture the apostle Paul saying the words found in Philippians 1:18, “whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice”. 

I may not be happy with the way some people [abuse] use Messiah Yeshua’s name, but I have no choice but to rejoice when I hear His name being used.  It’s a great example of how giving the inspired word of God the final say, is the safest thing one can do.  As a firm believer [in] Messiah Yeshua, I know the mere mentioning of Messiah Yeshua’s name causes me to seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit to weigh what I heard against the inspired word of God.

I don’t know about you but some of the best conversation I’ve had, with total strangers, came as the result of my hearing Yeshua’s name from a distance.  I may have been within hearing distance to begin with, but I’m looking to close that gap by making myself known as a firm believer in Messiah Yeshua “Jesus” and, joining the conversation.  There are times, and they’re far and few in between, when saying nothing at all is the [Biblically] correct thing for me to do.  Allowing for God’s will to be done and not mine, is another [good] example of giving the inspired word of God the final say.

Followers of the Anthanasian Creed see the events that took place in 325-AD as [their] defining moment in “church” history, when those directly linked to the Anthanasian Creed met head on with Arianism.  The fact of the matter is they’re absolutely correct, the [false] method of salvation they teach can [only] be traced back to 325-AD.

I have had a [great] number of conversations with followers of the Anthanasian Creed, the so called “victory” they believe to have won in 325-AD is the first thing they’ll bring up.  What they fail to see is not only are they saying their system of belief depended upon the outcome of that confrontation, they’re saying nothing else matters but what the Anthanasian Creed has to offer.    

The last sentence of the Anthanasian Creed clearly establishes that unless a person “faithfully” believes everything documented within that creed which certainly includes the doctrine of a “Trinity,” they “cannot be saved”.  If that doesn’t put the inspired word of God in the position of being subject to the ideas of men, I don’t know what will.

News Flash!

Messiah Yeshua “Jesus” [is] the Son of God.

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.  1 John 4:15 (NKJV)

For obvious reasons, 1 John 4:15, confessing Messiah Yeshua the Son of God is to give the inspired word of God, the final say.

Fear Not, Preach The Word

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,” 1 Peter 1:3 (NKJV)

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.

Have you found the words “the Son is God” in the inspired word of God?  Would you agree that they were [first] made known to the public in 325-AD when the Anthanasian Creed surfaced and became the doctrine of the Catholic Church?  I know those teaching it as sound doctrine see it differently, working in harmony with the inspired word of God, but the Anthanasian Creed is a false doctrine. 

Each and every time a follower of that creed mentions a single verse of [Scripture], in their attempt to justify that creeds [false] method of salvation, they’ll contradict another one elsewhere.  For example, quoting a verse of [Scripture] from Paul’s writings.  The follower of that creed can say it supports the Anthanasian Creed, but is it [really] enough to make it so?  As you’ll soon see, it isn’t.

After reading Ephesians 1:3 and 1:17 above, do you see how it’s [Biblically] impossible for the Anthanasian Creeds “the Son is God” to agree with anything found in Paul’s letter to the Ephesians?  Do you think Paul would write to those in Ephesus one thing, only to contradict it elsewhere in his travels?  I wouldn’t give it a second thought if I were you.  

As you can see, to say that Paul’s writings support the Anthanasian Creed in any way shape or form, is contradicted by what Paul [actually] wrote in these two verses.  Any attempt to [make] Paul’s writings support the Anthanasian Creeds “the Son is God,” is an absolute waste of time.

If you have spent any time on this blog, you know that I reject the Anthanasian Creed.  I do not need to take into consideration man’s interpretation of the scriptures, the inspired word of God is all I need.  Here’s an example.

While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard two men talking about the Scopes “Monkey Trial” when [creation] and [evolution] met head on in March of 1925.  Their conversation focused on the person speaking on behalf of creation, specifically how unprepared he was.  The two speakers on the radio were looking to show “Christians” how the outcome of that “trial” back then, shouldn’t keep them from speaking publicly about what they believe to be a truth, today. 

I saw something on television just a few days ago, that has to be a sign of things to come, for the mere mentioning of Jesus’ name that is.  I’m not going to go into great detail here on what I saw but will give you the high points.  The fact that it was likely viewed by millions of people throughout the world, is of great significance to me.

The individual confessing to be a “pastor” is being considered for a new job.  The other person represents the “company” that’s looking to fill that position, a job interview if you will.  Obviously, because “political correctness” seems to be the “theme” of the day for some, it was news worthy.

The credibility of the “pastor” came down to him answering questions concerning his beliefs.  The “pastor” was asked, “Do you believe [Christianity] is the only religion and what about [Muslims and Jews], are they condemned for not believing it?”

I’m not judging anyone here, but I am prepared to handle situations such as this.  If someone is looking to question my beliefs, I’m going to identify that the inspired word of God is on trial here, not myself.  I see the inspired word of God as the foundation of what I have chosen to believe.  The person that doesn’t see the inspired word of God as sufficient enough, has left themselves in the position of leaning on their own understanding of it.  That person is left with one choice, to follow false doctrines.

I wasn’t there when the Anthanasian Creed surfaced in 325-AD, well after the last entry of the New Testament was written.  I didn’t take part in those discussions concerning the Anthanasian Creed, which ended with it being an accepted doctrine of the Catholic Church.  I can read about them, but I’d be a fool to accept it as anything else but hearsay at best.

The Anthanasian Creeds method of salvation, saying, unless a person “faithfully” believes “the Son is God” they “cannot be saved,” isn’t found in the inspired word of God.  It depends entirely on the writings of those found outside the inspired word of God to remain up and running.  The person believing that [false] method of salvation, has no choice but to misinterpret “it is written” the inspired word of God.  They will have no choice but to face the one question that’ll prove the Anthanasian Creed to be a false doctrine. 

“Do you believe the person rejecting the Anthanasian Creed cannot be [Biblically] saved?”

If I’m faced with having to face questions concerning my beliefs, the inspired word of God and not me will be the one on trial.  I know I’m not responsible for what a person chooses to, or not to do, with [Biblical] truths.  Accepting whatever may come my way for preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, is exactly what I have been called to do.  Simply put I’ll preach the word, and leave the rest in the hands of the all-knowing God of the [Bible].

Be Sure Of What You Ask For

“That you may with one mind and with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 15:6 (NKJV)

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.

Have you ever heard, or said it to someone else for that matter, “Be careful what you ask for?”  I have.  I have found that most people believe “You just might get what you’re asking for” is reason enough to, “Be careful what you ask for”.  I get it, God knows what’s best for us and we, don’t. 

As good as “be careful what you ask for” sounds, for the true follower of the [Biblical] Yeshua it’s not an option.  The best case scenario is not giving a second thought to “Be careful what you ask for.”  As a true follower of the [Biblical] Yeshua, wanting to please God with everything we say and do, is the priority so one would not ask for anything that is not pleasing to God.  As long as it is pleasing to God, one should have no concern asking for it.

Obviously, as mere human beings we can’t please God twenty four hours a day.  God’s plan of salvation has been made known to us, so there has to be a way to live a life that’s pleasing to God without having to be concerned about these things we’re asking for and, there is.  God’s plan of salvation isn’t locked up in some vault, where only a “select” few have access to it.  In 325-AD that may have been the case, but not today.

The common person has had access to the [Bible] for quite some time now.  The problem we’re faced with today is the direct result of what surfaced in 325-AD the high priest of all false doctrines, the Anthanasian Creed.  Followers of that creed believe the only way to get the “fullness” of God’s plan of salvation is to attend, seminary.  What they fail to see is that the inspired word of God calls for us to preach the word, not make it up as we go along.

The inspired word of God is what it is, as is, whether a person chooses to believe it or not.  The person leaning on his or her understanding of the events leading up to the events themselves, for that matter, Yeshua’s death burial and resurrection, has a 0% chance of interpreting them correctly.

And as He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and prayed, saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.” Luke 22:41-42 (NKJV)

If “nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done” is pleasing to God, and coming from Messiah Yeshua it most certainly is, then followers of Messiah Yeshua should be saying the same and for the same reason which is to please God.

“And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.” As He spoke these words, many believed in Him.  John 8:29-30 (NKJV)

If you’re looking to “please” God, then everything you say, and put your hands to for that matter, [must] agree with the teachings of the [Biblical] Yeshua.  If it agrees with Messiah Yeshua’s teachings, no need to give it a second thought.  Accepting it for what it is, pleasing to God, true followers of the [Biblical] Yeshua preach the word not according to their own understanding of it, but as given by the Spirit of God.  If it’s pleasing to God my friends, the Spirit of God had everything to do with you wanting to say or do it in the first place.

It’s no secret that I write about things heard on the local “Christian” radio station.  I don’t listen to it with the intent of finding things to write about.  If that was the case you’d be reading, at the very least, ten [new] postings a day.  Followers of the Anthanasian Creed supply plenty of material to write about.  The Anthanasian Creed [forces] them to contradict the teachings of the [Biblical] Yeshua. 

At the moment I’m waiting for the response of two e-mails sent to two different pastors, concerning something I heard on the radio.  Not everything heard on the local “Christian” radio station, makes its way into this blog.

I don’t need to tell you that there are people bent on killing others for what they believe to be a just cause but is anything else but.  They’ve chosen to reject God’s plan of salvation.  When a system of belief doesn’t offer the all-knowing God of the [Bible’s] plan of salvation, it exposes itself as being anything else but a just cause.

Since there’s more than one [false] system of belief to choose from these days, not offering the all-knowing God of the [Bible’s] plan of salvation, I’m not going to single any one of them out. 

The Anthanasian Creed is a target because it’s actually [forcing] its followers to teach a [false] method of salvation, claiming it’s linked to the [Biblical] Yeshua.

Let’s cut to the chase.

Do you believe anything good can come from rejecting the all-knowing God of the [Bible’s] plan of salvation?

Are you following a system of belief where the all-knowing God of the [Bible’s] plan of salvation isn’t found in it?

Do you believe a person cannot be saved if they reject the Anthanasian Creed?

If you’ve answered “Yes” to any one of these three questions, you need to ask the all-knowing God of the [Bible] to show you the significance of Yeshua’s death, burial, and resurrection.  Asking God about anything concerning His plan of salvation, is the beginning of understanding the greatest love story ever told.
