From One Believer To Another

From One Believer to Another

If this is your first time visiting this blog, “Welcome!”

As you read, I pray you’ll not see me as being angry at anyone. Firm at times with some, I’ll agree with that. I know that no matter what a person has gone through, things they’ve said or done, or still doing for that matter, there’s a 50/50 chance of my having sought forgiveness for doing the exact same thing at one time or another. I know the battle is not against flesh and blood my friend.

Throughout this blog you will find me quoting things heard on the radio. You’ll not find the names of those who said these things in the posts. I do document their names, the date, time, and radio station call sign on my copy of the original document. I do not publish these details because our mission should be to expose the false teachings not to personally attack the person.

If you should continue reading my friend, you will find the Anthanasian Creed being exposed for what it is, a false doctrine. The word of God having the final say. My trusting in He who knows hears and sees all things, the God of the [Bible].

Choose Righteousness In 2024

The Bible is clear on what to say or do. It shows us who Jesus is and no one has taught us more about life than Jesus. Live your life knowing it is true so that you live and teach it correctly. Make choosing righteousness, that is keep our focus on what Jesus accomplished in the first century as laid out for us in the Bible, priority number one.

Not Where It Fairly Belongs

Near the end of the first century, John the Apostle being led by the Holy Spirit wrote: Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV) It is not intentional, but for whatever reason, people allow themselves to be influenced by falsehoods. Actually, we’re all guilty of doing so at one time or another. I’ve come to learn, by the grace of God, the Bible doesn’t endorse one having confidence in themselves alone. The only trustworthy source of truth is the Bible. After reading John 20:17 above, would you say Jesus’s God and Father and your God and Father are one and the same? I would. The biblical Jesus, will never be found guilty of endorsing falsehoods. In John 20:17 Jesus said, “go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” Jesus’s God and Father and Jesus’s brethren’s God and Father are one and the same. By continuously speaking of Jesus, as He is laid out for us in the Bible, one is more likely to recommend/believe the biblical account of who Jesus is. People will either accept who the Bible says Jesus is or they’ll twist the Bible to make Jesus who they want Him to be, creating a falsehood. The line is being drawn between truth and untruth. If you believe the Bible is honest about Jesus, you’d say the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God” is irrelevant. Who’s to blame for one mistakenly linking Jesus’s name to the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God”? One could point to the one teaching it as true, or to the doctrines of men for that matter, but that’s not where it fairly belongs. When all is said and done, one would only have themselves to blame for believing a falsehood. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Exchanging Truth For A Lie

I can’t imagine the number of people that speak well about the Bible these days, while at the same time exchanging truth for a lie. I pray they’re not in the position of influencing people. If you can’t take Jesus at His word, then who? Followers of the Anthanasian Creed have made the mistake of believing the events that took place in AD 325 settled the argument of the validity of the Anthanasian Creed. In reality it was just the beginning. Unlike the majority of those that lived in AD 325 we have access to the Bible today. For that reason, followers of the Anthanasian Creed can see that unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved” cannot be found in the Bible. When Jesus comes again, and He will, you want to be found believing in Him, according to the Scriptures and not according to man’s interpretation of them. There is nothing better than the simplicity of God’s plan of salvation as laid out for us in the Bible. When you convey biblical truths about Jesus, you will always be pointing others to the biblical Jesus and not to man’s idea of who they think He is. If it’s rightly related to Christ Jesus, teach it as such. Exchanging truth for a lie, in this case speaking well about the Bible while lifting up the Anthanasian Creeds false method of salvation, is uncharacteristic of a true follower of Messiah Jesus. Unsolicited Feedback

Here’s a quote from a woman who stopped by my table at a recent book signing event. She said her boyfriend bought the Jesus book (Jesus’s God And Father) at a previous book signing event (two weeks ago). “He read the book and he loved it and we’ve had many interesting conversations about it.” While selling and signing the same book to someone else, the woman was talking to wife Susan off to my right. When the moment presented itself, Susan shared the conversation between them with me. I love talking about my newly released book Jesus’s God And Father: One God And Father Of All but for me to hear this woman’s unsolicited feedback brought so much joy to my heart. I immediately gave God the praise He so rightfully deserves. My book signing events have come to an end for the year and as for my two children’s books and Jesus’s God And Father, it’s all good. There’s so much more I could share with you about what lies ahead for me, concerning Jesus’s God And Father: One God And Father Of All, but I’m being patient and trusting God. God bless. Can Jesus Lie?

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV) Recently, at the second of three book signing events in a five day period, my newly released book Jesus’s God And Father: One God And Father Of All, generated an interesting conversation. I heard from an individual, three times mind you, “Jesus was playing a role.” The third time I heard this said, came after this individual actually read John 20:17, directly from my book, for themselves. I asked, “Can Jesus lie?” Up to this point this individual refused to accept the fact of Jesus “ascending to” His “God,” which is exactly what Jesus is saying in John 20:17. After a brief moment of silence, I asked this individual once again, “Can Jesus lie?” “No” was their response, but nothing changed. This individual was bent on believing Jesus is God, and accused me of taking a single verse of Scripture to make my point. I was instructed to spend more time in the Bible to get the rest of the story. Nothing could be more beneficial to one’s well-being than being right by Jesus. Anyone can read the Bible from cover to cover but not until they actually accept it as true, that is believe in Christ Jesus according to the Scriptures, will they come to know who Jesus is. Jesus is the Son of God, not God. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Cling To What Is Good

If you find yourself clinging to something you’ve either heard, read, or seen, what happens when you find it to be false? Would you still cling to it? Whatever links the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God” to Jesus is not gospel. It’s false doctrine. Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Romans 12:9 (NKJV)

It Must Be True

“Now it came to pass, when Jesus finished commanding His twelve disciples, that He departed from there to teach and to preach in their cities. And when John had heard in prison about the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples and said to Him, “Are You the coming One, or do we look for another?” Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.” Matthew 11:1-6 (NKJV) While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard, “If you heard it on this station it must be true.” It is okay to question if “it must be true” to something you’ve heard about Jesus. If it can be traced back to something Jesus actually said, or did, it must be true. Teaching unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved” as true, is a distorted understanding of what has been clearly laid out for us in the Bible. “Blessed is he who is not offended because of” Jesus. Things Concerning Jesus

And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself. Luke 24:27 (NKJV) “He” refers to Jesus in this verse. A biblical account of the things pertaining to who Jesus is, His accomplishments in the first century and of His second coming, is worthy of passing on to others. If you get Jesus wrong, you can’t blame the Bible. When you really give thought to it, the biblical account of who Jesus is, you’d see that the world would be better off if it were taught properly. If it was, there’d be no need for the doctrines of men. God bless. In His Care… Jim

The Truth Of The Gospel Message

How would you treat something found to be detrimental to one’s walk with Jesus? What if it is something that doesn’t follow the truth of the gospel message? Would you teach it as true? Would you know the difference? As innocent and free as you may find guidelines, not all are helpful. You’ll never be right when teaching falsehoods as truths. Whatever binds the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God” to the biblical Jesus, will never be true.

Reflections On A Book Signing

Recently, I had my first opportunity to have my latest book Jesus’s God And Father: One God And Father Of All at a book signing along with my two children’s books. I had numerous one on one conversations with people about my latest book. My expectations were confirmed that people who lift up the doctrine of the “Trinity” are mostly unaware of the Anthanasian Creed. On one occasion when I explained the Anthanasian Creed is the source of the doctrine of the “Trinity,” I heard from this individual, “You shouldn’t confuse people.” I replied, it’s the doctrine of the “Trinity” that’s confusing people. I have four more signing events between now and the end of November. I look forward to future conversations at these events, as well as my daily happenstances that God puts in my path. I want you all to know that I love talking about this new book. God bless. Jim

Believers And Nonbelievers Alike

Proclaiming truths about Jesus should be the norm, for those fervently seeking to be right by Jesus that is. Those disregarding Jesus’s teachings are not concerned with what the Bible says, nor things harmful to other people. Scripture gives us one solid reason to share truths about Jesus with believers and nonbelievers alike, it is Jesus. Just as Jesus is the centerpiece of God’s plan of salvation, He must be the centerpiece of our daily life as well.

No Reason To Dispute

The Bible doesn’t support “the Son is God” the doctrine of the “Trinity,” and it gives no reason to dispute the rationality of it making its way into the 21st century. Unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved” not only supersedes what Jesus accomplished in the first century, it’s dishonest.

I Don't Mind You Asking At All

I received an email concerning one of my books, Yeshua’s God Is God. This particular individual or should I say a publishing firm, is looking to work with authors on getting their next book published. I let him know that these days all my attention is focused on my new book, Jesus’s God And Father: One God And Father Of All. I found his post script interesting and wanted to respond to it. Here’s the post script: P.S. I hope you don't mind me asking. What was the most challenging part of the writing process for this book compared to Yeshua's God Is God, and how did you overcome it? I mean how's the book been transformative to you? Here’s my response: Hello-------, I pray all is well with you and yours. I don’t mind you asking at all. I had a conversation with my wife Susan about the matter and we both agree, you’ve handled the situation well, so I’m going to share a few things with you. This is not the norm with me, because I don’t know where you stand with Jesus and nonbelievers can’t understand the challenges I face daily. There was a time when writing about false doctrine man’s idea of who they think Jesus is, was challenging to me. The fear of being rejected by family and friends, let alone what eventually did happen a few years ago, being excommunicated from the church we attended, kept me from writing what I really wanted to say. Yeshua’s God Is God was a giant step in the right direction. Jesus’s God And Father: One God And Father Of All, however, is the compilation of decades of research and about six years of not being concerned about the repercussions of speaking truths about Jesus, as laid out for us in the Scriptures. The message found in my new book has been tested, and I am on the right side of biblical truths. I hope that answered your question. You can check out my web site if you like: www.godandfatherofjesus.com Kind regards, Jim

Judge According To Appearance?

“Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.” John 7:24 (NKJV) I don’t care whether you believe what I believe. I care whether you believe what the Bible says. You’ve probably heard the saying, “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” That’s all well and good but what about those claiming to be teaching biblical truths today? What’s to be said about them? Don’t judge what you’re hearing by the one who’s delivering it, “but judge with righteous judgment.” God bless. In His Care…Jim

Hearing By The Word Of God

“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17 (NKJV) I heard and learned about the biblical Jesus, from Jesus’s God and Father, this just prior to my first believing in Christ Jesus. The gift of salvation is independent of me, but totally by God’s grace—thru Jesus. The Anthanasian Creed’s unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved” a false method of salvation indeed birthed in AD 325, has been heard and relied upon ever since. Whatever binds the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God” to the biblical Jesus, is not helpful to having a clear understanding of who Jesus is. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Lean Not On Your Own Understanding

The Bible will withstand any challenge brought against it, and gives more than enough reasons to stay clear of false doctrines. Man’s understanding of the Bible should never be used to settle disputes between people. Therefore, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5 (NKJV)

Jesus's God And Father: One God And Father Of All

I’m very excited to launch my new website. Click on the image of my new book in the upper left side of this blog.

Some 1,698 Years Later

I have known for quite some time that the Anthanasian Creed should not have made its way into the 21st century. Some 1,698 years later (since AD 325), which corresponds to the lifetime of the doctrine of the “Trinity,” I believe it is time to offer a biblical view concerning the matter. Jesus’s God And Father: One God And Father Of All reveals truths about Jesus. Whether one believes in Jesus or not, a biblical view of who Jesus is can only work for the good of civilization.

More Truth And Less Deception

I have been working on a new book which is soon to be released. It was 1698 years in the making, which corresponds to the lifetime of the doctrine of the “Trinity.” This time frame provided the material I needed to draw from, concerning the matter, the writings of those that came after the Bible. The last entry of the New Testament occurred near the end of the first century, thus creating a gap of 325 years between the Bible and the birth of the Anthanasian Creed. My new book highlights the difference between truth and deception. On what basis do we accept the Anthanasian Creed as sound doctrine and turn our heads away from what Jesus accomplished in the first century? What we need is less of what man created in AD 325 and more of what has been clearly laid out for us in the Bible, God’s plan of salvation: more truth and less deception.

Choosing To Withdraw

Near the end of the first century, John the Apostle being led by the Holy Spirit wrote: Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV) By choosing to withdraw from bits and pieces of the Bible, in this case John 20:17, one could say that Jesus “ascending to” His God, and Father, doesn’t pertain to us today. This could eventually lead to one having the Bible cancelled altogether, in their mind. Could it be that portions of the Bible they want to withdraw from, shows them to be wrong? Without the Bible, I know that I’d be on the wrong side of what’s best for me. I hope I wouldn’t have taken it as far as to wanting to cancel the Bible altogether. In Christ Jesus, Jim

The Doctrines Of Men?

Why does anyone pay attention to the doctrines of men? When searching the Bible for what to state publicly, pay close attention to what you’re reading. As you read the Bible, don’t be mindful of the doctrines of men. They are not worth paying attention to. God bless. In His Care… Jim

It Might Sound Trivial To Some

As one who loves God, and Jesus, greetings. I don’t know about you but I love it when I hear someone saying “I don’t know” to things that only God, and those whom God chooses to reveal them to, could know. A [great] number of times a week I say, to things I hear on the local “Christian” radio station, ‘the Bible doesn’t tell us that.’ To me, one time is too many. For example, I hear said what had to be going through someone’s mind at the time, or that someone in the Bible is or isn’t saved. It might sound trivial to some but we can’t make assumptions about what people felt or what happened next if it is not spelled out in the Bible. It is God’s way or bust. God’s way is available for all to read [exclusively], in the Bible. Are you prepared to say that God revealed something to you, if it’s not [in fact] written in the Bible? In Christ Jesus, Jim

At Odds With Trinitarians

Have you ever thought about, how denying the doctrine of the trinity puts one at odds with Trinitarians? Trinitarians, are followers of the Anthanasian Creed. The Anthanasian Creed and the doctrine of the trinity, go hand in hand. As one who denies the doctrine of the trinity, why should I be concerned about what Trinitarians think? Don’t let your mind wander to far here, because I’m not concerned one bit. Where one stands with Jesus however, as laid out for us in the Scriptures, now that’s a different story. Telling others truths about Jesus, while at the same time denying the doctrine of the trinity, won’t be a problem. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Whom/What One Chooses To Follow

Thru the years, folks have chosen to believe specific philosophers, advertisements, politicians, and last but certainly not least, preachers. I would say people are free to believe whomever, whatever, they like. With me, it all comes down to whom/what one chooses to follow. I certainly don’t agree with everything I see/hear these days, but I’m not going to be swayed by any of it. I’ve chosen, to follow Jesus. I’m free to do whatever I like but if I was to put something before Jesus, I now become a follower of whomever/whatever that may be. Putting something before Jesus, would leave me having to defend things that [actually] contradict Jesus’ teachings. This in and of itself, keeps me from ever becoming a follower of the Anthanasian Creed. In Christ Jesus, Jim

How Do I Get That?

I believe in Jesus and all He accomplished in the first century as laid out for us in the Scriptures. Have you been taught or told things about Jesus for so long, that you believe them even if they are not found in the Scriptures though? Folks can be attentive to things concerning Jesus today, but accepting everything said about Him as true, may not be wise. The last entry of the New Testament occurred near the end of the first century. If you think [for one second] that there hasn’t been false teachers discrediting the Bible floating around since then, you’d be greatly mistaken. The Anthanasian Creed [actually] dismantles the Biblical explanation of God’s plan of salvation. How do I get that? The Bible doesn’t sanction “the Son is God.” As one who loves God, and Jesus, I know that if not for the Anthanasian Creed “the Son is God,” isn’t. Thus making, unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved” something birthed in 325-AD, and most definitely, false. Have your mind set on [highly] respecting the Biblical explanation of what Jesus accomplished in the first century as laid out for us in the Scriptures. You cannot be more right. In Christ Jesus, Jim

Biblical Text

While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard a follower of the Anthanasian Creed talking about the Bible, saying “You’re not allowed to add to the text.” I totally agree with the speaker on this point. When you look at the Anthanasian Creed, it is clear that something has been added to Biblical text. Have you been taught or told you’re not allowed to discard the doctrine of the trinity for so long, that you believe it? The Anthanasian Creed in fact announced “the Son is God,” showing the doctrine of the trinity was first proclaimed, in 325-AD. Who in the Bible, sanctioned the doctrine of the trinity? In Christ Jesus, Jim

I'm Following Jesus

As one who loves God, and Jesus, greetings. Near the end of the first century, John the Apostle being led by the Holy Spirit wrote: Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV) Jesus’ God and Father and my God and Father are one and the same (John 20:17). I’m following Jesus, and this is what He’s saying.

On What Sound Doctrine?

The Tale Of The Anthanasian Creed

Teaching as true, unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved,” cutting the tale of the Anthanasian Creed short, is lying.

A Refreshing Word

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV) A refreshing word, John 20:17, saying Jesus’ God and Father and Jesus’ brethren’s God and Father are one and the same. Giving Jesus my undivided attention, allows for Satan’s devices to be uncovered. This, along with everything about Jesus, I find refreshing these days. Satan won’t find the truth about Jesus, refreshing. Those teaching false doctrines however, should know, it’s inevitable. The word of God endures forever… a refreshing word, indeed! God bless. The Child In The Womb

Whether you believe in Christ Jesus according to the Scriptures, or not, can you tell me this? What’s keeping the child in the womb unprotected from activities outside the womb?

Saturday, April 8, 2023

There Is No Middle Ground Here

Long before “the Son is God” was chronicled in the Anthanasian Creed, John the Apostle being led by the Holy Spirit wrote: Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV) There is no middle ground here, “the Son is God” is either a figment of someone’s imagination, or John the Apostle succumbed to falsehoods. Know what’s at stake. Jesus said “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” It would be safe to say that John the Apostle knew that Jesus’ God and Father and his God and Father, are one and the same. God bless. In His Care… Jim

To His God And Father

John the Apostle is speaking of Jesus here, “And has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” Revelation 1:6 (NKJV)

Where Is Your Faith?

And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm. But He said to them, “Where is your faith?” And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one another, “Who can this be? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!” Luke 8:24-25 (NKJV) “Who can this be?” He is Jesus, the Son of God. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 1 John 4:15 (NKJV) I don’t find speaking against the Anthanasian Creed’s false method of salvation troublesome at all. There is no middle ground here, the Anthanasian Creed’s lie either supersedes what Jesus accomplished in the first century, or it doesn’t. For those that believe unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved,” “Where is your faith?” God bless. In His Care… Jim

Jesus Has Done Nothing Wrong (1)

Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, “If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us.” But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.” And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.” Luke 23:39-43 (NKJV) Jesus “has done nothing wrong,” and it’s well documented in the Bible. Actually, because this same Jesus is coming again when that time comes, it’ll still be safe to say Jesus “has done nothing wrong.” In the Bible, it is impossible to find Jesus saying something, or doing something, wrong.

Jesus Has Done Nothing Wrong (2)

And He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and prayed, saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.” Luke 22:41-42 (NKJV) “He” Jesus “knelt down and prayed, saying, Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.” In case you should “come about” an untruth about Jesus that suggest Jesus says/does something wrong in the Bible, know Jesus “has done nothing wrong” (Luke 23:41).

Jesus Has Done Nothing Wrong (3)

Would you say the person confessing Jesus is the Son of God, the Lord and the Savior of their life, saved according to the [Scriptures], and rejects the Anthanasian Creed altogether, is saved? When I say “rejects the Anthanasian Creed altogether” I mean, treat the Anthanasian Creed as if it never existed at all. The problem with this falsehood that is the Anthanasian Creed which declares “the Son is God,” is Jesus, is that Jesus “has done nothing wrong” (Luke 23:41). “The Son is God’ is not an option in God’s plan of salvation.

Jesus Has Done Nothing Wrong (4)

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV) Jesus’ God and Father, and Jesus’ brethren’s God and Father, are one and the same (John 20:17), because Jesus “has done nothing wrong” (Luke 23:41). God bless. In His Care… Jim

Scripture Alone!

Don’t expect others to teach the Bible properly. For those that don’t, what’s contrary to God, intends to take you down. The odds of wrongfully placing something above God, increase [greatly] when trusting man’s understanding of the Scriptures. Even if man’s understanding of the Scriptures were 5% correct (which is highly unlikely), would you be able to teach the Bible properly?

To Be Liked By One And All

If you’re looking to avoid hatred, go with the flow, and don’t stir the pot. Even when you know what’s being said is absurd or unimaginable, such as the Bible is out-of-date, forget about it. Don’t get caught up in current events, because no one is going to be liked by one and all. Straightforwardly, there will be consequences to our actions. Make Christ Jesus priority number one in your life, and don’t be concerned about what others think. God bless. In Christ Jesus, Jim

The Bible Tells Me So

While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard, “We cannot have a Jesus of our own concoction.” The speaker on the radio a follower of the Anthanasian Creed then went on to say, referring to the Bible, “Context is important.” Near the end of the first century, John the Apostle being led by the Holy Spirit wrote: Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV) After reading John 20:17, would you say Jesus’ God and Father and your God and Father are one and the same? Don’t let your mind wander to far here [really], because “We cannot have a Jesus of our own concoction” and “Context is important.” As one who loves Jesus, I know Jesus’ God and Father and my God and Father are one and the same, because the Bible tells me so. God bless. In His Care… Jim

It Actually Happened

I previously thought it would be hard to image, but now have come to expect, that someone who accepts that Jesus’ God and Father and their God and Father are one and the same (John 20:17), could still cling to “the Son is God.” I will expect this, because for the very first time, it [actually] happened.

God's Will

The Bible is honest about Jesus. It is God’s will from beginning to end.

If You Knew The Bible Is Honest About Jesus

Near the end of the first century, John the Apostle being led by the Holy Spirit wrote: Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV) As one who loves God, Jesus’ God, and Jesus, I know Jesus’ God and Father and my God and Father are one and the same. If you knew the Bible is honest about Jesus, would you say Jesus’ God and Father and your God and Father are one and the same? The rest is between you and the all-knowing God of the Bible, Jesus’ God, and Father. God bless. In Christ Jesus, Jim

Our Eternal Destination

It’s so easy to find falsehoods within the Anthanasian Creed, because the Anthanasian Creed guarantees it. The last sentence of the Anthanasian Creed reads, “This is the catholic (Christian) faith; which except you believe faithfully and firmly, you cannot be saved.” If the Anthanasian Creed is correct, saying, unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved,” then the Bible is irrelevant. The solutions to believe “the Son is God” [or else] problem, is to change direction. Our eternal destination, is based on where we stand with Jesus. It’s so easy to receive Jesus, and be forever with Jesus. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:5 (NKJV) God bless. In Christ Jesus, Jim

Linked Together

The Anthanasian Creeds method of salvation, and God’s plan of salvation, cannot be logically linked together.

The Bible Would Be A Hoax

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV) John 20:17 is clear, no trickery, Jesus’ God and Father and Jesus’ brethren’s God and Father are one and the same. The Bible would be a hoax, if Jesus was a trickster. If you believe what Jesus did, as laid out for us in the Scriptures, carry on. God bless. In Christ Jesus, Jim

The Only Way To Salvation

For the followers of the Anthanasian Creed, it’s a mystery, as to how [believing] “the Son is God” transforms into the only way to salvation. I’m not buying it, because there’s no mystery as to what Jesus accomplished in the first century, let alone who Jesus is. He is, the Son of God. Believing in Christ Jesus according to the Scriptures, assures ones salvation is secure. Teaching nonentities as truths, in this case unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved,” demonstrates man’s understanding of the Scriptures can’t be trusted. The Scriptures as is, or man’s understanding of them, which would you say displays what one must believe in order to be saved according to the Scriptures? I would say what Christ Jesus accomplished in the first century, as laid out for us in the Scriptures [truly], displays God’s plan of salvation. It points to one must just believe in Christ Jesus. What Is It Based On?

As one who loves God, Jesus’ God, and Jesus, greetings. It is my obligation to tell you to not give anyone reason to believe something is in the Bible, when it isn’t. People do listen, and some actually investigate the matter for themselves while others will mistakenly just take your word for it. It is safe to say that falsehoods, wrong ideas of who Jesus is, are [actually] rooted in man’s misinterpretations of the Scriptures. You’re reasoning as to who Jesus is, what is it based on? Jesus’ teachings has less than 100% chance of being correct. There is wiggle room for dishonest teachers to work with. Could this speak of you? I pray God that it doesn’t. Not until the all-knowing God of the Bible tells me to disrespect Jesus, will I esteem the maze of man’s misinterpretations of the Scriptures. Conveying the gospel of Christ Jesus in truth, as laid out for us in the Bible, will always have you respecting what Jesus accomplished in the first century. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Beyond God's Grace

The Anthanasian Creeds unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved,” falsehood, supersedes what Jesus accomplished in the first century. Actually, it reaches beyond God’s grace. The Bible is a story of redemption, and nothing will ever replace it. Nothing has caused more people to turn from Biblical truths, to false teachings, than the Anthanasian Creeds false method of salvation. God bless. In His Care… Jim

What Is Really There In John 20:17?

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV) I sent this question to someone I [frequently] listen to on the local “Christian” radio station: After reading John 20:17, would you say Jesus’ God and Father and your God and Father are one and the same? I did not receive a direct “Yes” or “No” response but, here’s a (about 1/3rd) portion of what I did receive: Dear Jim, Thank you for your recent email to _______________ asking about John 20:17 and the teachings of Athanasius (ca, 296-373). Jim, we encourage you not to make more of John 20:17 than is really there. Jesus told Mary, do not cling to me, because He had not yet ascended to the Father—the One and only Father revealed through Jesus Christ to all believers. The application of this verse in our lives is that we are to be a conduit of His love to others; we are to go out and serve and witness. Here’s a (about 1/4th) portion of [my] reply: If you believe everything Jesus said is important, teach it as such. For example in John 20:17 we find, Jesus’ God and Father and Jesus’ brethren’s God and Father are one and the same. This should not only be recognized as an [absolute] truth today, it should be taught as one as well. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Bad Doctrine

While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard, “There’s great encouraging in good doctrine.” The speaker on the radio, is a follower of the Anthanasian Creed. Anybody that believes, unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved,” is associated with the Anthanasian Creeds false method of salvation. No need to worry, those unfamiliar with this particular [dishonest] method of salvation. No one has been, or ever could be, eternally separated from Christ Jesus, for rejecting those teachings encouraging others to become followers of the Anthanasian Creed. The Anthanasian Creeds method of salvation, is bad doctrine. God bless. In His Care… Jim

It Should Come As No Surprise

It should come as no surprise, to those of us that love the Bible that is. Many falsehoods have made their way into the twenty first century that imply, God’s plan of salvation as nothing more than hearsay at best.

The Bible Is Reliable

I read in an e-mail written by a person I choose to remain nameless, “The doctrine of the Trinity is absolutely essential to New Testament Christianity. Theologians have pointed out that if it were not true, the Bible would be unreliable.” As one who loves God, Jesus’ God, and Jesus, I know these so called “theologians” are unreliable. The doctrine of the “Trinity,” that is unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved,” is all about nothing. This particular falsehood, clearly laid out for us in the Anthanasian Creed, unfortunately made its way into the twenty first century. The Anthanasian Creeds way of salvation, believe “the Son is God” or else, can’t be “essential to New Testament Christianity.” I’m pointing out that if the Anthanasian Creeds method of salvation is spot-on, the Bible would be unreliable. God bless. In His Care… Jim

One Of Three Acceptable Answers

As one who loves God, Jesus’ God, and Jesus, greetings. My battle is not against flesh and blood, nor earthly [denominational] institutions called church. Falsehoods within the Anthanasian Creed however, something that [actually] supersede God’s plan of salvation, is the battle. If you believe in Jesus according to the Scriptures, we’ll both be on the right side of God’s plan of salvation. Trusting in what Jesus accomplished in the first century is far greater, concerning our salvation, than mistakes made by us in the past, present, and future. So, to get a better understanding as to where one stands with Jesus, I [first] must hear/read their answer to the one question I have. There are three [acceptable] answers to the question, if one is looking to continue having a conversation [about Jesus] with me. 1) “Yes.” 2) “No.” 3) “I’m not prepared to answer the question at this time.” Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV) Here’s my question: After reading John 20:17, would you say Jesus’ God and Father and your God and Father are one and the same? Being in agreement with John 20:17, I know Jesus’ God and Father and my God and Father are one and the same. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Have We Not?

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” Matthew 7:21-23 (NKJV) It is never a good thing to lack respect towards, or to underestimate the repercussions of mishandling Jesus’ teachings. In Church Or Outside The Church

A person can choose to believe whatever they like. How they explain it will reveal what’s behind it all. There’s a good explanation as to why people just can’t seem to get along with one another these days, in church or outside the church. They don’t trust the inspired word of God, the Bible, to be more than sufficient enough as is.

The Greatest Error

There should be no differences between what Jesus said, and the teachings of those who are saved according to the Scriptures. What was good for Jesus’ disciples in the first century, is good for His followers today. These things that Jesus said, are available for all to read in the Bible. The greatest error in interpreting Scripture is substituting having to believe man’s understanding of the Scriptures to be saved, for God’s plan of salvation. Unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved,” falsehood, shouldn’t have made its way into the twenty first century. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Referring To Jesus' God (Part 3)

“He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.” Revelation 3:12 (NKJV) Jesus refers to His God, as “My God” 4 times in Revelation 3:12, so don’t look for any likeness of “the Son is God” in the city of Jesus’ God, “the New Jerusalem.”

Referring To Jesus' God (Part 2)

And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” Matthew 27:46 (NKJV) Jesus says “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me” in Matthew 27:46, so don’t look for anything referring to Jesus as “the Son is God” in the Bible.

Referring To Jesus' God (Part 1)

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV) Jesus says “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God” in John 20:17, so don’t look for Jesus referring to Himself as “the Son is God” in His teachings.

Thankful For What I Have

I look for opportunities to share my faith with total strangers, without letting on that I am a follower of Christ Jesus, plant good seeds if you will. Before the seed planting process begins however, a few things need to hold true each and every time. The other person has to be a total stranger to me. The total stranger must [first] say something to me that leads me to share, something Biblical with them. I then have an interesting situation before me. With the total stranger initiating the conversation, I have the opportunity to share something Biblical without even mentioning Jesus’ name. Who knows if it will lead to an open discussion about my relationship to Jesus, or not. Either way, knowing a good seed is planted, I leave it all in God’s hands. Example: I’m standing in a long line and for whatever reason, a total stranger starts talking to me. This stranger to me is not happy about having to wait so long in line, and is not shy about telling everyone within hearing distance about it. After listening attentively to all the stranger had to say, I replied, I’ve learned to embrace moments like this, being thankful for what I have.

Believing That Jesus Is The Son Of God

Never mind what others think or say about Jesus, get it straight from the Bible. Teaching Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, will always be the truth. Believing that Jesus is the Son of God, means you are saved according to the Scriptures.

The Possibility Of Being Wrong

As one who loves God, Jesus’ God, and Jesus, greetings. Jesus once said, and I believe it enthusiastically, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32 (NKJV) Undisciplined teachers should consider the possibility of being wrong, when they’re confronted with the truth about Jesus. Teaching unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved” as true, is uncharacteristic of a true follower of Christ Jesus. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Jesus' God And Father

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV) Therefore, continuing along in accordance with John 20:17, Jesus’ God and Father and Jesus’ brethren’s God and Father, are one and the same.

Any Non-Biblical Thing I Hear About Jesus

I’d be prey to believing false things about Jesus, if I didn’t have access to the Bible today. I’ve come to trust the Bible wholeheartedly. I can only guess the [actual] number of false doctrines there are, containing Jesus’ name in them. The Bible is, where Jesus’ teachings are secure. It is 100% trustworthy as is. Consequently, I’ll not be duped into believing any non-Biblical thing I hear about Jesus. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Irrelevant To God's Plan Of Salvation

It’s not about the Anthanasian Creeds “the Son is God” or what it means to its followers. I believe and confess whole-heartedly that Jesus is the Son of God, and because of that, I am saved according to the Scriptures. The Anthanasian Creeds method of salvation is actually irrelevant to God’s plan of salvation. Unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved” not only supersedes what Jesus accomplished in the first century, it’s dishonest. The Anthanasian Creed is clear in what it says, who needs the Bible. God bless. In His Care… Jim

No Supporters Of The Anthanasian Creed

You’ll find the words “the Son is God” in the Anthanasian Creed, and the world knew nothing about it until 325-AD. Unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved” is also a byproduct of the Anthanasian Creed, and the world knew nothing about it until 325-AD as well. If not for the events that took place in 325-AD, that gave birth to the Anthanasian Creed, there’d be no supporters of the Anthanasian Creed.

Scripture Alone!

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV) I find it comforting to say, Jesus’ God and Father and my God and Father are one and the same. Followers, “brethren” of Christ Jesus, should find it comforting to say this as well. After all, Jesus said, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God” in John 20:17. The doctrines of men don’t sway me one way, or the other. I just find them to be, pointless. I am more than happy [unapologetic] telling the truth about Jesus, as laid out for us in the Scriptures. What if I was swayed by the doctrines of men? Would I still be happy [unapologetic] telling the truth about Jesus? No, I [would not] be happy, if I was bent on keeping the Anthanasian Creeds “the Son is God” up and running. Choosing between telling the truth about Jesus, as laid out for us in the Scriptures, and defending well-documented falsehoods, is a no brainer. I choose being more than happy [unapologetic], that is Scripture alone. Jesus saying “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God,” settles the matter. The Biblical Jesus and the Anthanasian Creeds “the Son is God,” are not one and the same. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Trust That It's True

Those lifting up “the Son is God” expect it to be true. Actually, to get to the tale of its past one should ask, what’s making “the Son is God” believable? The Bible doesn’t endorse unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved.” This false method of salvation wouldn’t exist, if not for the Anthanasian Creed. The tale of the Anthanasian Creeds birth in 325-AD, doesn’t matter to me. Making “the Son is God” believable, solely belongs to those expecting it to be true. From Scriptures, we know that Jesus is the Son of God. Believe it, and trust that it’s true. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Fisher Of Men

Then Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.” Mark 1:17 (NKJV) As one who loves Jesus, and who desires to follow Jesus faithfully, I have no desire to use false doctrines as bait to become a fisher of men. One does not have to believe “the Son is God” in order to be saved. The Bible is clear as to who Jesus is, the Son of God. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 1 John 4:15 (NKJV) God bless. In His Care… Jim

My Salvation

“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17 (NKJV) Some, such as supporters of the Anthanasian Creed, have selective hearing, as demonstrated by not pursuing Jesus’ teachings at all times. Don’t let your mind wander to far here, because having to believe “the Son is God” to be saved will always be, contrary to Jesus’ teachings. Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV) When I read the words “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God” in John 20:17, it’s as if I’m actually hearing Jesus saying them. This in of itself, because Jesus’ God and Father and my God and Father [are] one and the same, keeps me from ever having to pursue “the Son is God” for my salvation. God bless. In His Care… Jim

If you have never, ever, believed that Jesus is the Son of God, I pray you consider doing so. Didn’t Jesus say His God and Father and His brethren’s God and Father are one and the same in John 20:17? Of course He did. Don’t be the one ascribing falsehoods to what has been clearly laid out for us in the Bible, because the Bible will [most certainly] show them to be false.
