Reflections On The Past And Prayers For The Future

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.

“Whosoever will be saved, before all things, it is necessary that he hold the catholic (i. e. , universal, (Christian) faith. Which faith except every one do keep whole and undefiled without doubt he shall perish everlastingly.”  - First two sentences of the Anthanasian Creed.

“Furthermore, it is necessary to everlasting salvation that he also believe faithfully the incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ. For the right faith is, that we believe and confess that our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is God and Man.” – Anthanasian Creed

“This is the catholic (Christian) faith; which except you believe faithfully and firmly, you cannot be saved.”  - Last sentence of the Anthanasian Creed.

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 1 John 4:15.

The Anthanasian Creed disrespects 1 John 4:15, let alone those trusting the [Bible] to be sufficient enough as is.  It doesn’t matter when where or how one “learns” about the Anthanasian Creed, they shouldn’t give it a second thought.  Whatever “This is the catholic (Christian) faith” is, it never should have made its way into the twenty first century.

According to the Anthanasian Creed “Whosoever will be saved, before all things” one [must] believe, “the catholic (i. e. , universal, (Christian) faith,” lest they “perish everlastingly,” and “cannot be saved.”   

“Whosoever will be saved, before all things” clearly supersedes everything Jesus accomplished in the first century. 

Looking again at 1 John 4:15, “Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God,” I hope you see Jesus for who He really is, the Son of God.  Realize that the Anthanasian Creeds, “is God and Man,” [truly] adds something to 1 John 4:15 that isn’t there.

As one who loves Jesus, and who [contentedly] rests in “Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God,” I reject the Anthanasian Creed altogether.  The [Biblically] correct thing for anyone to say, is “Jesus is the Son of God.” 

I believe and confess Jesus is the Son of God, because the [Bible] tells me so.  It’s the exclamation of every [true] follower of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus.”

I can safely say that Jesus gave us no reason to believe that 1 John 4:15, as is, doesn’t agree with what He accomplished in the first century.  The Anthanasian Creed however forces 1 John 4:15 to be insufficient evidence as is, thus contradicting everything Jesus accomplished in the first century.

What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice.  Philippians 1:18 (NKJV)

It’s time to recognize the difference between “pretense” and “truth,” especially when it comes to the salvation of one’s soul.  We ought to “rejoice,” at the mere mentioning of Jesus’ name, but we don’t have to agree with everything that’s being said about Him.

For example we can choose to celebrate on December 25^th as such, but we don’t have to believe Jesus was actually born on December 25^th to be saved.  We just need to believe in Jesus.  Taking it one step further one can choose to not celebrate Jesus’ birth all without fear that this decision dooms one to hell’s fire as long as they believe in Jesus.  Finally, for the believer in the [Biblical] Jesus, who knows the “truth” that Jesus is the Son of God, you are most definitely saved without the “pretense” of the Anthanasian Creed. 

Trust the [Bible] to be more than sufficient enough as is, and the Anthanasian Creed will always fall on the wrong side of the truth. 

The person confessing “that Jesus is the Son of God” isn’t bound to, “before all things” one [must] believe the Anthanasian Creed and thus the doctrine of the trinity.  Followers of the Anthanasian Creed need to ask themselves the question, who’s teaching the Anthanasian Creed as sound doctrine?  They should also find out why no one in the [Bible] is teaching, unless one believes the doctrine of the trinity one “cannot be saved.”

We have come to the end of another year, another decade.  It is a time to reflect on the past while looking towards the future.  You see here my reflection on the past, the Anthanasian Creed but more importantly, the [Bible].  In the future, I pray you continue to keep your eyes on Jesus.  In 2020 and beyond, let’s have the mind set of doing what Jesus, not man, commanded us to do. 

“This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” John 15:12 (NKJV)

Sharing what Jesus accomplished in the first century, God’s plan of salvation in a nutshell, points towards loving “one another as” Jesus “loved” us.

It Closes The Lid on The Anthanasian Creed

“That you may with one mind and with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 15:6 (NKJV)

In the only name given among men by which we must be saved, Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.  See Acts 4:12 (NKJV)

Would you say the person confessing Jesus is the Son of God, the Lord and the Savior of their life, saved according to the [Scriptures], and rejects the Anthanasian Creed altogether, is saved?

There’s a lot of people who [really] do love Jesus but if they are not willing to say “the person” is saved, because they have been [in one way or another] fastened to the Anthanasian Creed, I wouldn’t take them seriously.  The Anthanasian Creed isn’t called for in God’s plan of salvation.  What Jesus accomplished in the first century closes the lid on the Anthanasian Creed, and is available for all to see in the [Bible]. 

As one who loves Jesus, and who’s not ashamed to tell others about Him, I say “the person” is saved.  Preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ in truth, which is to say [Scripture] alone, has “the person” saved all day long.  Simply put, based on the [Bible], there’s no reason to believe anyone has to believe the Anthanasian Creed, and thus the doctrine of the trinity, to be saved.

Here And Now

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort.” 2 Corinthians 1:3 (NKJV)

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.

While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard, “If we want to understand the bible we must keep our eyes on Jesus.”  I agree with the speaker on this point.  The speaker on the radio is a follower of the Anthanasian Creed.

Those confessing Jesus is the Son of God, saved according to the [Scriptures], should treat everyone confessing the same as brothers/sisters in Christ.  They [must] keep their eyes on Jesus, His life, His actions, and most importantly what He did for us on the cross.

“Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe I am He, you will die in your sins.” Then they said to Him, “Who are You?” And Jesus said to them, “Just as I have been saying to you from the beginning. I have many things to say and to judge concerning you, but He who sent Me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I heard from Him.” They did not understand that He spoke to them of the Father. Then Jesus said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things.” John 8:24-28 (NKJV) 

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV)

“Jesus said to her,” “go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’”  Even with it being [plainly] laid out for us in John 20:17, Jesus’ God and Father and Jesus’ brethren’s God and Father are one and the same.  I would recommend that you keep your eyes [entirely] off the [Anthanasian Creed].  I hope you can see that the Anthanasian Creed only adds on to what Jesus accomplished in the first century.

As one who’s not ashamed to tell others about the [Biblical] Jesus, and who rejects the Anthanasian Creed altogether, I say Jesus clearly establishes His God and Father, who “taught” Jesus to “speak these things,” when He said “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.”  To teach the Anthanasian Creed is true, is to belittle everything Jesus accomplished in the first century.  Simply said, the Anthanasian Creed is replacement theology.

I [absolutely] believe in freedom of speech, but it may come with repercussions.  Belittling what Jesus accomplished in the first century is risky business.  If the one confessing “Jesus is the Son of God” isn’t saved according to the [Scriptures] because they reject the Anthanasian Creed altogether, it’s time to stop appreciating, better yet looking forward to, the second coming of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus.”  Of all the silly things being preached today that you have to believe to be saved, the Anthanasian Creed, birthed well after all of the New Testament, is the silliest of them all.

Those confessing “that Jesus is the Son of God” should be able to walk into any workplace, grocery store or [local] church and be welcomed by those confessing the same.  They shouldn’t be alienated for rejecting false doctrines/teachings, such as the Anthanasian Creed that adds onto what Jesus accomplished in the first century.  The [Bible] is more than sufficient enough as is, and should be taught as such.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”  John 3:16 (NKJV)

It’s time to preach the truths found in the teachings of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” which is to say [Scripture] alone.  Telling people the way to salvation includes the writings of those not mentioned in the [Bible], is not an option, because nothing could be further from the truth.  As you can see in John 3:16 “Whoever believes in” Jesus “should not perish but have everlasting life,” is saved. 

A person can’t be any more saved, than the moment they [confess] to the all-knowing God of the [Bible] that [here and now] they believe Jesus is the Son of God.  My simple prayer is that you keep your eyes on Jesus.

I Get It

Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?  1 John 5:5 (NKJV

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.

Are you a follower of the [Biblical] Jesus or of someone or something else?  The Anthanasian Creed for example.  It is a byproduct of someone who’s not mentioned in the [Bible] and is not supported by the [Bible].  Its followers are having to explain how what Jesus did for our salvation is not enough because the Anthanasian Creed’s claim adds onto what Jesus did and then declares its way is the [only] way to salvation.

If the Anthanasian Creed didn’t exists at all, what would one have to believe to be saved according to the [Scriptures]?  Would one have to believe that Jesus was born on December 25^th?  No.  How about Paul being the writer of the book of Hebrews?  Would one have to believe that he wrote it to be saved?  No.  I could go on and on with these silly things fashioned by those not mentioned in the [Bible], none of which would have anything to do with the salvation of one’s soul.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”  John 3:16 (NKJV)

“Whoever believes in” Messiah Yeshua “Jesus” will be saved.  It’s [really] that simple, to become a follower of the [Biblical] Jesus.  Turning ones back to the Anthanasian Creed, [believing in] accepting what Jesus accomplished in the first century, is the safe thing to do.

As I sat at the local coffee house, computer open and ready to type, I was asked, by someone I have spoken with before, “What are you doing?” 

“I’m working on a post for my blog,” I replied. 

“What’s it all about?” they asked. 

I said, “I’m a firm believer in the biblical Jesus and that’s what it’s all about.”  At this point she admitted to not knowing much about religion.  A second barista who has confirmed she has read my blog joined the conversation.  I was explaining that some time ago I received a question from God that puts the church in a quandary.  To answer it correctly the church has to admit that they are teaching things incorrectly.  The second barista then strongly suggested, “Give her the question.”  I offered to write it down for her and she agreed, then I gave it to her as I left.

Would you say the person confessing Jesus is the Son of God, the Lord and the Savior of their life, saved according to the Scriptures, and rejects the Anthanasian Creed altogether, is saved?

I came back a few days later and asked the barista if she had read the question.  She had, but confessed that she didn’t really understand it.

I explained that “the Anthanasian Creed is the problem.  The church teaches it as a truth when it is anything else but the truth.”  I then went on to remind her that the question begins with “would you say the person confessing Jesus is the Son of God.”  This is scripturally correct because Jesus is the Son of God.  Then it states “the Lord and Savior of their life.”  This is what the [Bible] is instructing us to do, to accept Jesus as the Lord and Savior of our lives.  The next portion of the question actually answers the question itself.  It says that the person is “saved according to the scriptures.”  At this point, anyone who knows anything about Jesus and what He did for us on the cross, would say that the person is saved.  However, if they are a follower of the Anthanasian Creed, they would also have to look at the portion that says this person “rejects the Anthanasian Creed altogether” and decide if this same person is still saved.

Would you say the person confessing Jesus is the Son of God, the Lord and the Savior of their life, saved according to the Scriptures, and rejects the Anthanasian Creed altogether, is saved?

I saw the light of recognition go on in the face of the barista and she said “I get it.” 

I replied, “Good for you.”

People, [Biblically] speaking, there’s every reason to believe the person is saved.

The Anthanasian Creed Opposes God's Plan of Salvation

Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. Hebrews 4:14 (NKJV)

How do you define [Biblical] truths?  Is the Anthanasian Creed the means you use to authenticate [Biblical] truths?  As one who loves Jesus, and who’s not ashamed to tell others about Him, I say the Anthanasian Creed opposes God’s plan of salvation and this is available for all to see in the [Bible].

God Became Man is an Outgrowth of The Anthanasian Creed

As I listened to the local “Christian” radio station a follower of the Anthanasian Creed said, “God became man.”  I hope that you would agree with that “God became man” is an outgrowth of the Anthanasian Creed, because it is impossible to prove otherwise.

There’s absolutely no reason to believe that the all-knowing God of the [Bible], the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob (Israel), in any way shape or form, “became man.”  Any attempt for someone to prove otherwise will once again take them [directly] to the Anthanasian Creed.  It is the source of [many] false teachings, which includes “God became man.”

Does What They Are Selling Make Sense?

In the name of He who said here are My mother and My brothers, Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.  See Mark 3:31-35 (NKJV)

As I listened to the local “Christian” radio station a follower of the Anthanasian Creed said, “The choice that makes the most sense will most likely be the one God wants you to make.”  I [totally] disagree with the speaker on this point when it comes to the salvation of one’s soul.  Speakers for centuries have been doing too good a job of selling that the Anthanasian Creed makes sense.  In reality, the Anthanasian Creed contradicts God’s plan of salvation.

But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundation of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.

And the keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself. But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, “Do yourself no harm, for we are all here.”

Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Acts 16:25-31 (NKJV)

“The keeper of the prison” was in a predicament, “seeing the prison doors open.”  Knowing if “the prisoners had fled” there’d be a [not good] price to pay, “the keeper of the prison” saw only one way out, “to kill himself.”  Just as “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved” was the [only] right choice to make then, God wants us to do the same today.

A good salesperson can make even the wrong thing make sense.  If the goal is to treat the [Bible] with respect, which makes perfect sense, then choosing to [sell] communicate unless one believes the doctrine of the trinity one cannot be saved, makes absolutely no sense.

Know The Source

“We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you.” Colossians 1:3 (NKJV)

In the name of He who when being asked “Are You then the Son of God” answered “You rightly say that I am,” Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.  See Luke 22:70 (NKJV)

While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard, “It was a message to themselves from themselves.”  It’s not important as to why the speaker on the radio said “It was a message to themselves from themselves,” because it had no [Biblical] implications attached to it at the time.  That the speaker is a follower of the Anthanasian Creed however, is of great importance. 

“It was a message to themselves from themselves,” is exactly what the Anthanasian Creed is to its followers. 

There’s no way for the follower of the Anthanasian Creed to escape the fact that they are the only ones saying, unless one believes the doctrine of the trinity one cannot be saved.  [Biblically] speaking though, the idea of anyone having to believe the Anthanasian Creed, and thus the doctrine of the trinity, to be saved, is silly.

Using the [Bible] as your guide, which is to say giving it the final say, will keep you from being misled into believing false doctrines like the Anthanasian Creed.

“It was a message to themselves from themselves,” tells us that the message comes from man to reassure man.  Instead we should get our messages and reassurances from God’s word.  This is how it should be for those that have been called to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ in truth.  Followers of the Anthanasian Creed are trapped in the maze of man’s understanding of the [Scriptures], and are bent on silencing [Biblical] truths.  One thing they have in common is the source of their findings can’t be the all-knowing God of the [Bible].

“Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe I am He, you will die in your sins.” Then they said to Him, “Who are You?” And Jesus said to them, “Just as I have been saying to you from the beginning. In your effort to establish a truth, especially those well documented in Jesus’ teachings, be prepared to identify the source of your findings.  Following Jesus’ lead “I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things.”  “To My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.”  For me, I know Jesus’ God and Father is the source.

Faith, Biblical Faith

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.

As I listened to the local “Christian” radio station a follower of the Anthanasian Creed said, “Jesus can say in fifteen minutes what we can say in fifteen hours.”  Followers of the Anthanasian Creed believe and teach that unless one believes the doctrine of the trinity one cannot be saved.  This by itself eradicates all of what Jesus accomplished in the first century.  They could attempt to explain it for fifteen hours and fail to [Biblically] prove “the Son is God.”

Would you say “the person” confessing Jesus is the Son of God, the Lord and the Savior of their life, saved according to the [Scriptures], and rejects the Anthanasian Creed altogether, is saved?

It has to be the [most] difficult thing to proclaim, for the follower of the Anthanasian Creed, saying that “the person” is saved.  I was once afraid of speaking out against the Anthanasian Creed, knowing it has absolutely nothing to do with the salvation of one’s soul, but now I’m not concerned one bit about doing it.

Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found Him, He said to him, “Do you believe in the Son of God?” He answered and said; “Who is He, Lord, that I may believe in Him?” And Jesus said to him, “You have both seen Him and it is He who is talking with you.” John 9:35-37 (NKJV) 

Jesus didn’t even need fifteen minutes to tell us He is “the Son of God.”  Faith, [Biblical] faith, is to not doubt what Jesus accomplished in the first century.  To believe in the Anthanasian Creed is to simply be misled.

Man Did

When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?” So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.”  Matthew 16:13-17 (NKJV)

I agree with “Simon Peter,” and the [Scriptures] in their entirety, Jesus is “the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

When the gospel of Jesus Christ is preached in truth, adding to and/or subtracting from it, is a substitute for the truth.  God’s plan of salvation is available for all to see in the [Bible], and has Jesus [showing us the way] telling us everything one needs to know about it.  Sinners could not make it right with God, if not for what the Son of God “Jesus” accomplished in the first century.            

Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, being tempted for forty days by the devil. And in those days He ate nothing, and afterward, when they had ended, He was hungry. And the devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.” But Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’”  Luke 4:1-4 (NKJV)

When Jesus said “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God,’” He did not cement the way for the Anthanasian Creed to become “every word of God.”  Man did. 

You’d be [greatly] mistaken if you say the Anthanasian Creed is sound doctrine, because there’s no evidence of anyone having to [believe] live by it, let alone to be saved by it, in the [Bible]. 

Any attempt to tie the Anthanasian Creed, to God’s plan of salvation, will leave Jesus in the position of not knowing the “word of God.”  This just after Satan asked Him, “If You are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.”

The Anthanasian Creed is the [principal] offshoot of the events that took place in 325-AD.  It’s believe it [or else] false “method of salvation” will not, cannot, ever, agree with what has been laid out for us in the [Bible].  You can’t [believe] teach [Scripture] alone, while teaching unless one believes the doctrine of the trinity one cannot be saved.  You have to contradict yourself and the [Bible].   

Fortunately, for all peoples of the world, God’s plan of salvation is laid out in the [Bible] for all to see. [Believing in] accepting what Jesus accomplished in the first century, is the only way to make things right with God.  The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Israel).  The all-knowing God of the [Bible].

Think About The Person Crying Out to be Saved

In the precious and beautiful name of the Faithful and True Witness, Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.  See Revelation 3:14 (NKJV)

The Anthanasian Creed, and thus the doctrine of the trinity, became doctrine of the Catholic Church in 325-AD.  How do you [Biblically] defend something that if not for the writings of those not mentioned in the [Bible], wouldn’t exist at all?

There is no evidence of anyone having to believe [or else] the doctrine of the trinity to be saved in the [Bible].  So let's place the Anthanasian Creed in its rightful place, the nearest trash bin.  With or without the Anthanasian Creed, God’s plan of salvation is [absolutely] 100% trustworthy, which is to say [Scripture] alone.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”  John 3:16 (NKJV)

Make no mistake about it my friends, the Anthanasian Creed should never had made its way into the twenty first century, let alone 325-AD.  According to the Anthanasian Creed, “Him” in John 3:16, would have to be the Anthanasian Creed itself.

Think about the person crying out to be saved, seeking forgiveness for past sins, just prior to taking their last breath here on earth.  Would you tell them, all they have to do is believe in Jesus to be saved?  I would.  John 3:16 is trustworthy and “whoever believes in” Jesus, will be saved.

Couldn't Be More Obvious

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” Mark 13:32 (NKJV)

As I listened to the local “Christian” radio station I heard, “Jesus is God and He is all-knowing.”  The speaker on the radio is a follower of the Anthanasian Creed.

In their attempt to make sense of the Anthanasian Creed, they ignore that “nor the Son” fact which proves Jesus does not know all things.  Followers of the Anthanasian Creed treat Jesus’ teachings as if they are nothing more than nonsense.

“So the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Ghost is God. And yet they are not three Gods, but one God.”  - Anthanasian Creed.

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.  1 John 4:15 (NKJV)

The contradiction between these two texts couldn’t be more obvious.  Unlike what solely belongs to the Anthanasian Creed, the words “the Son is God,” 1 John 4:15 isn’t tied to the writings of those not mentioned in the [Bible].  I would implore you to trust the [Bible] and confess “Jesus is the Son of God.”

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.

While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard a follower of the Anthanasian Creed say, “The greatest gift for one to have is that of eternal life with Jesus.”  I agree with the speaker on this point.  

The speaker then went on to give the [Bible] its proper due, saying, “The word of God, absolutely sufficient.”  There’s irony when a follower of the Anthanasian Creed says things like “The word of God, absolutely sufficient,” as they’re the ones saying unless one believes the doctrine of the trinity one cannot be saved.

As one who loves Jesus, and who’s not ashamed to tell others about Him, I say, it doesn’t get any better than to be on the right side of what Jesus accomplished in the first century.  The Anthanasian Creed, as hard as its followers try to make it so, will never agree with God’s plan of salvation that has been laid out for us in the [Bible].

Straight From Him to Us

As I listened to the local “Christian” radio station a follower of the Anthanasian Creed said, referring to what has been laid out for us in the [Bible], “God has given us a message, straight from Him to us.”  I agree with the speaker on this point.

Would you say the person confessing Jesus is the Son of God, the Lord and the Savior of their life, saved according to the [Scriptures], and rejects the Anthanasian Creed altogether, is saved? 

Where we differ is, I can say “the person” is saved with a clear conscience, because I know the Anthanasian Creed has absolutely nothing to do with the salvation of one’s soul.  “God has given us a message, straight from Him to us.”  Followers of the Anthanasian Creed are left with having to say “the person” is not saved, which is to second guess what “God has given us.”

The Anthanasian Creed contradicts “God has given us a message, straight from Him to us.”  The [Bible] forewarns us of false doctrines, but when it comes to the salvation of one’s soul, be sure you rely on the message gave straight from “Him to us.”  When we respect, and give reverence to the word of God, the Anthanasian Creed will always come out on the wrong side of truth.

What do followers of the Anthanasian Creed have in common with the creed itself?  Neither of them had anything to do with what has been laid out for us in the [Bible].  There’s no evidence in the [Bible] of anyone supporting or rejecting the idea that unless one believes the doctrine of the trinity one cannot be saved.  This belongs solely to the Anthanasian Creed.

The story of Jesus’ birth will be heard throughout the world, leading up to and including “Christmas” day (December 25, 2019).  As the story of Jesus’ birth is told, please don’t neglect to mention that this same Jesus “shall stand and feed His flock in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord His God,” because this is [actually] found in the [Bible].  I don’t know about you but just like any other time of the year, the [Biblical] account of Jesus feeding “His flock in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord His God” should be told.  At least two things will happen when you do so.

God’s increase is guaranteed.

Jesus feeding “His flock” “in the majesty of the name of the Lord His God,” will once again demonstrate the Anthanasian Creed has been misleading people since its birth in 325-AD.

My Prayer For You

As I listened to the local “Christian” radio station a follower of the Anthanasian Creed said, “All of this is the work of God, the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ.”  The speaker on the radio “all of this is the work of God” didn’t need to mention the Anthanasian Creed, for me to see it there lurking in the background with the use of the word “Father.”

Ephesians 1:17 was my first thought after hearing the speaker say, “The Father of the Lord Jesus Christ,” specifically the words “the God of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

This is the text right from the [Bible] and leaves no doubt that our God is Jesus’ God too.

My prayer for you today is Ephesians 1:17.  “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.”

While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard, “God will never contradict what is given in the bible.”  The speaker on the radio is a follower of the Anthanasian Creed.  You’ll know it’s time to stay clear of the Anthanasian Creed when you realize it [challenges] contradicts, what is in the [Bible], and thus can’t be from God.

Could the follower of the Anthanasian Creed be saved?  “Yes,” if they [believe in] accept what Jesus accomplished in the first century, they are saved according to the [Scriptures]. 

If one desires to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ in truth they should realize that Jesus, the Son of God, didn’t contradict “what is given in the bible,” and neither did God.  The Anthanasian Creed, has everything to do about nothing.

I don’t know about you but every time I hear someone say they “taught the word of God,” I have high hopes of not hearing them say, unless one believes the doctrine of the trinity one cannot be saved.

The Groundwork of The Salvation of One's Soul

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV)

The groundwork of the salvation of one’s soul, the focus of God’s plan of salvation, is Jesus’ death on a cross.  There’d be no Jesus “ascending to My Father” His Father “and to My God” His God (John 20:17), without it.  Taking it one step further, there’s no [understudy] substitute for what Jesus accomplished in the first century.   

“Now to appear in the presence of God for us” that would be Messiah Yeshua “Jesus” speaking on behalf of His followers.  “Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.”

  

For “those who eagerly wait for” Jesus, [believing in] accepting what He accomplished in the first century, “He will appear a second time.”

The Anthanasian Creed can’t take Jesus’ place, nor those believing or rejecting it altogether.  The Anthanasian Creed would have to be inscribed into the [Bible], for it to be anything other than a labor of those not cited in the [Bible].  Acceptance of it would mean every [Bible] in the world would be superseded.

Don't Abandon The Possibility of it Being True

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”  John 3:16 (NKJV)

Just as the Anthanasian Creed has been doing since its birth what you’re about to read is something I heard and found quite discouraging.  A non-believer declared that someone else had gone thru a “true conversion,” meaning they were born again.   

If one accepts as true that a [self-confessing] non-believer is able to recognize a true conversion, which is to say the one rejecting Jesus discerns that a certain person has been [saved] born again, the [Bible] is no longer a safe place to learn about God’s plan of salvation.

Statements like this will turn people away from [Biblical] truths to false teachings, if they choose to use it as a means to determine whether or not a person is saved according to the [Scriptures]. 

I never thought I would encounter anything that could rival the damage done by the Anthanasian Creed but apparently I was wrong.  Keep in mind that the Anthanasian Creed was birthed in 325-AD and it claims, falsely I might add, the way to salvation. 

Unlike today where news travels [instantly] fast, one could have lived a long life in 325-AD and not known anything about the Anthanasian Creed.  “Whoever believes in” Jesus “should not perish but have everlasting life.”  What is known to us today as John 3:16 was true when Jesus spoke it, when John was led by the Holy Spirit to write it in the first century, and nothing has changed since.

People should respect the word of God, rather than treat it as something that can’t be trusted.  The Anthanasian Creed wouldn’t exist if not for the writings of those not mentioned in the [Bible], and it contradicts what’s in the [Bible].  It adds onto that which Jesus accomplished in the first century.  To say unless one believes the Anthanasian Creed, and thus the doctrine of the trinity, one cannot be saved, is to say the [Bible] is useless without the writings of those not mentioned in the [Bible].

Would you say the person confessing Jesus is the Son of God, the Lord and the Savior of their life, saved according to the [Scriptures], and rejects the Anthanasian Creed altogether, is saved?

Most people have no idea of what God has done for me, a sinner saved by grace, but let me make this one thing clear, it is impossible to prove that by rejecting the Anthanasian Creed one cannot be saved.  As one who loves Jesus, and who’s not ashamed to tell others about Him, I say “the person” is saved.

Giving the [Bible] the final say, which is to say stay clear of things like the Anthanasian Creed, is the safe thing to do.

Did you know that Jesus died on a cross for the sin of world and “whoever believes in Him” enters into an [everlasting] relationship with God?  If your first thought after reading this was, only a fool would believe such a thing, or for some other reason reject John 3:16, don’t abandon the possibility of it being true.  It is my prayer that God will use even the slightest possibility in your mind to someday change your mind and you will accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. 

Whether you’re a believer in Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” which is to say saved according to the [Scriptures], or not, know that the [Bible] is something that can be trusted.  If you’ve chosen to reject what Jesus accomplished in the first century, I hope you’d take the time to read about it in the [Bible] for yourself.  If you do, you’ll find it’s not forcing anyone to believe in Jesus.  “Whoever believes in” Jesus, is a personal choice and is yours to make.

The Gospel Message Never Changes

While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard, referring to those mentioned in the book of Acts, “The gospel according to the early church.”  The message given to us in the book of Acts should be the same message today.  Society today does not change the gospel message.

Recently I was asked what I thought about the impeachment hearings, going on in Washington D.C.

“There’s people that go to church on Sunday, refusing to do what the bible teaches,” was my [quick] response. 

The individual then asked, “What about the separation of church and state?”

“I wasn’t referring to the separation of church and state but rather the state of the church,” was my reply.  Nothing more was said, from that point on.

Wouldn’t the “gospel” message be taken straight from the word of God?  “Yes,” if you’re interested in having God’s increase attached to the message, it would.  Don’t be distracted by ongoing events today or let it change the way you are to live your life.  You’re salvation is still defined by what happened in the first century.

There is Only One God

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6 (NKJV)

While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard a follower of the Anthanasian Creed say, “There is only one God, and how many ways are there to this God?”  The speaker then went onto to say, referring to John 14:6, “Believing in Jesus is the only way to God.”  Followers of the Anthanasian Creed are known for saying things like ‘unless one believes the doctrine of the trinity they cannot be saved’ and, ‘even though the words “the Son is God” aren’t in the bible the evidence of it being so is.’

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”  John 3:16 (NKJV)

The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming” (who is also called Christ). “When He comes, He will tell us all things.” Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.” John 4:25-26 (NKJV)

We don’t have to [confess] believe that “Jesus” had an encounter with “The woman” in John 4:25-26, in order to be saved.  If that were true, Jesus’ second coming is not something they should be looking forward to.  The true follower of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus” [confesses] believes John 4:25-26 has been recorded accurately, because they [are] saved according to the [Scriptures].  They are saved because “whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

Jesus’ second coming is something to look forward to and accepting what Jesus accomplished in the first century, leading up to and including His death on the cross, is the only way to understand why.

If you’re familiar with the terms “altar call” and/or “sinners prayer,” I hope you’d agree with “Whoever believes in” Jesus (John 3:16), is saved according to the [Scriptures].  If you had/have no clue as to what [actually] took place in John 4:25-26, or in the book of Genesis for that matter, it would not change your salvation status.

I agree with the speaker, “There is only one God” and “Believing in Jesus is the only way to God.”  Where we differ is, you won’t hear me saying unless one believes the Anthanasian Creed, and thus the doctrine of the trinity, one cannot be saved.  I’m not interested in emulating the Anthanasian Creed, something that adds onto that which Jesus accomplished in the first century.

Jesus spoke these words, lifting up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him.  And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” John 17:2-3 (NKJV)

Messiah Yeshua “Jesus” calling God “My God” His God in John 20:17, “You, the only true God” in John 17:3, is trustworthy as is.

In order to “make” the Anthanasian Creed “trustworthy as is,” one would have to say/teach 1 John 5:5, specifically the words “Jesus is the Son of God,” contradicts God’s plan of salvation that has been laid out for us in the [Bible].

There’s nothing in the [Bible] saying “the Son of God” and the Anthanasian Creeds “the Son is God” are one and the same.  The words “the Son is God,” are not in the [Bible].    

The [Bible] will not be found guilty of causing people to stray from [Biblical] truths, to false teachings.  The Anthanasian Creed however, will.

Are They Saved?

They Wouldn't Suggest

As I watched television a follower of the Anthanasian Creed said, “There are things one has to believe to be saved.”  The program was live and sending in questions, was encouraged.  With a little more than an hour remaining in the program, I E-mailed, my question.

Here’s my question, written just the way I sent it: 

You said there are [things] one has to believe to be saved.  Besides [believing in] Jesus Christ, what else does one have to believe to be saved?

Although many of the questions sent in were answered in that one hour time slot, mine wasn’t read or discussed, and I’m okay with that because I didn’t expect it to be.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”  John 3:16 (NKJV)

You can gather as many followers of the Anthanasian Creed as you like, those believing unless one believes the doctrine of the trinity one cannot be saved, and not a single one of them would tell you that John 3:16 is subject to the Anthanasian Creed.  They wouldn’t suggest “that whoever believes in” Jesus, isn’t saved unless they also believe in the Anthanasian Creed.  On second thought, maybe some of them would.  Either way, the person seeking forgiveness for their sins, crying out to Jesus to save them, just prior to them taking their last breath here on earth, will never be subject to followers of the Anthanasian Creed, let alone dammed to hell’s fire for rejecting the Anthanasian Creed altogether.

I Would Trust God

Then Pilate said to Him, “Are You not speaking to me? Do You not know that I have power to crucify You, and power to release You?” Jesus answered, “You could have no power at all against Me unless it had been given you from above. Therefore the one who delivered Me to you has the greater sin.” John 19:10-11 (NKJV)

As I listened to the local “Christian” radio station a follower of the Anthanasian Creed asked, “What kind of people can God use?”  The [Biblical] correct answer is, anyone.  God’s plan of salvation is available for all to see in the [Bible] and in the [Bible] you’ll find the names of those, one would think, had no chance of being used by God. 

Even if the worst should happen, “You could have no power at all against Me unless it had been given you from above,” I would trust God.

There isn’t an intellectual way to salvation.  A person can “study” the Anthanasian Creed, for as long as they like, to the point of them actually believing it, and [still] that person has not been, could not be, or ever will be, saved by it.  

I say it’s far better to trust the all-knowing God of the [Bible], than to go through life defending the Anthanasian Creed.
