From One Believer To Another

From One Believer to Another

If this is your first time visiting this blog, “Welcome!”

As you read, I pray you’ll not see me as being angry at anyone. Firm at times with some, I’ll agree with that. I know that no matter what a person has gone through, things they’ve said or done, or still doing for that matter, there’s a 50/50 chance of my having sought forgiveness for doing the exact same thing at one time or another. I know the battle is not against flesh and blood my friend.

Throughout this blog you will find me quoting things heard on the radio. You’ll not find the names of those who said these things in the posts. I do document their names, the date, time, and radio station call sign on my copy of the original document. I do not publish these details because our mission should be to expose the false teachings not to personally attack the person.

If you should continue reading my friend, you will find the Anthanasian Creed being exposed for what it is, a false doctrine. The word of God having the final say. My trusting in He who knows hears and sees all things, the God of the [Bible].

So, Overcome The World

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV) An ideology can be a false doctrine if it does not present a Biblical view of who Jesus is. Anyone can say “the Son is God” but at the same time they should know, it’s not a Biblical view of who Jesus is. Is the Anthanasian Creeds “the Son is God” proof that Jesus’ God and Father and Jesus’ brethren’s God and Father [are not] one and the same? Absolutely not! John 20:17 clearly shows that they are indeed the same. If they were not, it would be the greatest deception of all time, and the Bible would imply Jesus is a liar. Would you say the person confessing Jesus is the Son of God, the Lord and the Savior of their life, saved according to the Scriptures, and rejects the Anthanasian Creed altogether, is saved? When I say rejects the Anthanasian Creed altogether I mean, treat the Anthanasian Creed as if it never existed at all. As one who loves Jesus, and who’s not ashamed to tell others about Him, I would say the person is saved. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:5 (NKJV) So, overcome the world, with all its false teachings, believe Jesus is the Son of God, and be saved.

The Doctrines Of Men Aren't Trustworthy

And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name. John 20:30-31 (NKJV) While listening to the local “Christian” radio station, I heard, “Jesus always tells the truth, because He is the God who cannot lie.” I agree that Jesus always tells the truth, but not with the speaker’s reason. For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.” John 12:49-50 (NKJV) Jesus said, “Just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.” The Bible also tells us that God cannot lie. The issue with the speaker’s reasoning is that Jesus is the Son of God, not God. Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV) In John 20:17, Jesus ascending to His God and Father, and to Jesus’ brethren’s God and Father, is the point. If one believes “the Son is God” then this could not be true. Jesus could not be telling the truth. It would be the greatest deception of all time, if the Bible were to label Jesus a liar. Unlike John’s account of who Jesus is in John 20:30-31, “the Christ, the Son of God,” and what “Jesus said” in John 20:17, the doctrines of men aren’t trustworthy. If not for the birth of the Anthanasian Creed in 325-AD, unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved” wouldn’t be an issue at all. God bless. In His Care… Jim
