From One Believer To Another

From One Believer to Another

If this is your first time visiting this blog, “Welcome!”

As you read, I pray you’ll not see me as being angry at anyone. Firm at times with some, I’ll agree with that. I know that no matter what a person has gone through, things they’ve said or done, or still doing for that matter, there’s a 50/50 chance of my having sought forgiveness for doing the exact same thing at one time or another. I know the battle is not against flesh and blood my friend.

Throughout this blog you will find me quoting things heard on the radio. You’ll not find the names of those who said these things in the posts. I do document their names, the date, time, and radio station call sign on my copy of the original document. I do not publish these details because our mission should be to expose the false teachings not to personally attack the person.

If you should continue reading my friend, you will find the Anthanasian Creed being exposed for what it is, a false doctrine. The word of God having the final say. My trusting in He who knows hears and sees all things, the God of the [Bible].

Unless It Agrees

I heard on the radio that it’s essential in the church to say, “that’s wrong,” or “that’s right.” Simply, church goers should be openly thankful for the truth, while refuting things that contradict sound doctrine. This took me back to the days when I was terrified of speaking against the Anthanasian Creed. If you spend any time at all on this blog, you’ll see that’s no longer the case for me. The issue here is, who’s to say it’s “sound doctrine”? Speaking from experience, it’s not those teaching falsehoods as true. The fact is, unless it agrees with what has been clearly laid out for us in the Scriptures, it can’t be sound doctrine. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Without Diluting The Truth

I heard on the radio that there’s a way to understand the Bible called “the rule of first mention.” Simply, when you come across something mentioned in the Bible and you’re not clear as to what it’s talking about, go back and find where it was first mentioned in the Bible to gain context. In theory it will provide a helpful connection. I can see how that could be helpful, but it won’t be for those who are not willing to leave the Bible as is, the sole source. For example, to find the words “the Son is God,” one would have to go back to the Anthanasian Creed itself since you will not find them in the Bible. “The rule of first mention” in this case, then would only date back to AD 325. In John 20:17 (NKJV) Jesus said, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” Without diluting the truth you’ve just read about Jesus’s ascension to His God and Father, you would not find “the Son is God” before AD 325. The tale of the Anthanasian Creed, and the first mention of “the Son is God,” go hand in hand. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Everybody Needs Jesus

The more you learn about God, the more you will learn about yourself. Mishandling the Scriptures will continue, until we have confidence in God. Trust in Jesus and expect no less than God’s increase. Everybody needs Jesus. God bless. In His Care… Jim

When Telling Others

When telling others about Jesus, the last thing you want to do is misrepresent Him. If you encounter someone misrepresenting Jesus by lifting up “the Son is God,” even though they may believe they’re doing the right thing, make sure you remind yourself of what Jesus said in John 20:17. “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” John 20:17 (NKJV) The claims Jesus made are true. You will never be wrong when telling others, Jesus ascended to His God and Father. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Letting Things Jesus Said Take Precendence

It has been decades since I intentionally attended a Sunday school classroom setting wanting to hear more about the tale of the Anthanasian Creed. I listened to those who knew more than I ever could have imagined about it. They explained particular events with such details, you would have thought it was an eyewitness account, and I quietly just sat through it all. Coming back to today, I’m going to change the set here, to let the things Jesus actually said take precedence. I will let His voice give evidence to the fact that “the Son is God” is meaningless. In John 20:17 (NKJV) Jesus said, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” Thus, in keeping with letting things Jesus said take precedence, Jesus ascended to His God and Father. Be Very Sure

The doctrines of men are one detail away from being eradicated, believing the Bible is trustworthy as is. Those that don’t trust the Bible as is, have a different idea of who Jesus is. There’s so much to gain by conveying the gospel of Christ Jesus in truth, just as it has been laid out for us in the Bible. Be very sure, of your commitment to the gospel of Christ Jesus. God bless. Something To Be Thankful For

When was the last time you thanked the food you’re about to eat, for showing up exactly when you least expected it to? With confidence, I’d give thanks to God. Beware of people formulating things as believable when there’s no actual biblical evidence to support them. For example, is the Anthanasian Creed’s “the Son is God” a fundamental truth for your belief today? If so, when was the last time you found actual evidence of it in the Bible? Speaking from experience, I’d say, never. There is no need to thank God for the Anthanasian Creed, birthed in AD 325, because it’s not something to be thankful for. God bless. In His Care… Jim

No Matter What Comes Against It

“What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice.” Philippians 1:18 (NKJV) I heard on the radio that you won’t find Jesus saying “I am God.” In this case it is “in truth.” It will always be true, no matter what comes against it “and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice.” The doctrines of men have absolutely nothing to do with my walk with Jesus. Trusting the Bible wholeheartedly, keeps one from having to create self-made messages or follow man-made doctrines. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Not The God Of The Bible

The mere thought of Jesus contradicting Himself in the Bible terrifies me. For Him to say something truthful about the God of the Bible, only then to say something false about Him, that’s not the Jesus of the Bible. In John 17:3 (NKJV) Jesus said, “And that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” I can safely say when Jesus said “You,” He spoke to God. “You” God, and He is “the only true God,” is Jesus’s God and Father. In John 20:17 (NKJV) this same Jesus said, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” Jesus ascended to “You” God, “the only true God,” Jesus’s God and Father. “The Son is God,” is not the God of the Bible. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Don't Let This Moment Slip Away

I hear it all the time, elections have consequences. I say, rejections have consequences. None more so, than if you reject Jesus. If you have yet to believe in Jesus, don’t let this moment slip away. “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9 (NKJV) God bless. Pleasing To God

In certainty the Anthanasian Creed declares, unless one believes “the Son is God” one “cannot be saved.” The problem is, that’s not in the Bible. If you want to know what’s pleasing to God, read the Bible. In short something that Jesus said in John 6:29 (NKJV): “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” Choosing to believe in the “sent” one, Christ Jesus, now that’s something that is pleasing to God. God bless. In His Care… Jim

After Reading John 20:17

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” John 20:17 (NKJV) After reading John 20:17, if you can’t say “the Son is God” is meaningless, then you’re saying what Jesus said is meaningless. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Righteousness Is Forsaken

The Bible isn’t based on man’s understanding of anything. When I hear, “even though there’s no actual evidence of it being so in the Bible the evidence of it being so is,” I expect it to be referring to something that’s lifting up “the Son is God,” or the doctrine of the “Trinity.” It is absolutely true that there is no actual evidence to support either idea in the Bible. They evolved from the tale of the Anthanasian Creed alone. It's only reasonable to tell others about Jesus, but if it’s based on one having to believe “the Son is God,” righteousness is forsaken. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Feeling Bad About Telling Others

I’m not against followers of the Anthanasian Creed but they’re wrong. Wrong, for not taking Jesus seriously. Enabling people to believe “the Son is God” and Jesus are the same, when the Bible clearly shows us that they’re anything else but. Jesus ascended to His God and Father, and it’s biblically impossible to prove otherwise. I have yet to walk away from a conversation feeling bad about telling others, the Anthanasian Creed shouldn’t have made its way into this century. Let us not forget that the problem here is, the Anthanasian Creed itself. God bless. In His Care… Jim

Don't Look At Me

I’m not going to compete with the Bible. In John 20:17 (NKJV) Jesus said: “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” Imagine, the Son of God Himself telling us He’s soon to ascend to His God and Father. Sounds like good news to me, and trustworthy at that. If you find yourself believing in or interested in Jesus, it is because God is leading you to that point, not a person, or book, or blog. Don’t look at me. Don’t believe because I, a man, write these things. Believe because the Bible tells you so. Jesus, the Son of God, is the centerpiece of God’s plan of salvation and God will continue to lead you to Him. God bless. In His Care… Jim

This Side of the Trinity?

I heard on the radio that Christians are to spread the gospel, being on this side of the “Trinity.” The speaker was implying that Christians need to believe in the “Trinity." How does that work for those who were first called Christians in the first century when then Anthanasian Creed that depicts “The Son is God” was birthed in AD 325? “And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.” Acts 11:26 (NKJV) The Anthanasian Creed is manmade, and most definitely on the wrong side of Jesus’s teachings. There’s no reason to believe that anyone has to believe the doctrine of the “Trinity,” in order to be a true follower of Christ Jesus. God bless. In His Care… Jim
