From One Believer To Another

From One Believer to Another

If this is your first time visiting this blog, “Welcome!”

As you read, I pray you’ll not see me as being angry at anyone. Firm at times with some, I’ll agree with that. I know that no matter what a person has gone through, things they’ve said or done, or still doing for that matter, there’s a 50/50 chance of my having sought forgiveness for doing the exact same thing at one time or another. I know the battle is not against flesh and blood my friend.

Throughout this blog you will find me quoting things heard on the radio. You’ll not find the names of those who said these things in the posts. I do document their names, the date, time, and radio station call sign on my copy of the original document. I do not publish these details because our mission should be to expose the false teachings not to personally attack the person.

If you should continue reading my friend, you will find the Anthanasian Creed being exposed for what it is, a false doctrine. The word of God having the final say. My trusting in He who knows hears and sees all things, the God of the [Bible].

Believers [in] Messiah Never Agree to Disagree

and this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” Messiah Yeshua, John 17: 3 (NKJV)

Jesus said to her (Mary Magdalene), “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’ “Messiah Yeshua, John 20: 17 (NKJV)

Greetings Friends,

I can safely say, which means the Spirit of God is leading the way as I do; the words Yeshua spoke, as given to us by the Apostle John in his writings (above), they’re in agreement with the One Yeshua called “You, the only true God,” and “My God,” and “My Father,” His God. The evidence of that being [Biblically] correct will be found within it, the [Bible].

Then Jesus said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things.” John 8: 28 (NKJV)

·         Key word being “taught”.

1)      “as My Father taught Me”

For I have given them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me.” John 17: 8 (NKJV)

·         Key word being “given”.

1)      “You have given Me,” with “You” being God and “Me” being Yeshua

2)      “For I have given them,” with “them” being Yeshua’s disciples and “I” being Yeshua

So, with those [Bible] verses (John 8: 28, John 17: 3 and 8, and John 20: 17) we can easily establish Yeshua’s “My Father,” and “My God,” and “You, the only true God,” God, as being the origin of the words Yeshua spoke; unless there’s a new/different meaning to the words “My,” and “You,” and “given,” it must be so. Therefore, we can also [easily] establish God, “You, the only true God,” taught Yeshua everything He spoke; Yeshua not wanting to do “nothing of Myself,” anything outside of God’s will; doing His own thing so to speak. Yeshua clearly establishing the words He spoke were not His; unless there’s a new/different meaning to the words “is not Mine,” it must be so.

·         He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the (“My Father”) Father’s who sent Me.” John 14: 24 (NKJV)

With Yeshua clearly establishing God as being His God, and Father, in John’s writings, he, John, will certainly be found agreeing with Yeshua if he continues to do so, establish God as being Yeshua’s God, and Father, in them. In Revelation 1: 6 (NKJV) we’ll find the evidence of John (in his writings), doing just that:

·         (Speaking of Yeshua) “and has made us kings and priest to His God and Father, to Him be the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen;” [and] in chapter 3, and verse 12 (same book), where he records Yeshua’s words doing the same; God being, His God; Yeshua using the words “My God” four times in a single verse of [Scripture]; let alone the [many] others doing the same.

Now, let’s continue to look at John’s writings and see how they line up with the centerpiece [foundation] of mans creation, they choosing to make the Son of God, “God,” and see if they continue to be in agreement with not only his own words, but Yeshua’s as he wrote about [them], as well.

The Apostle John, once again:

·         1 John 5: 4 (NKJV): For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. (5) Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? (6) This is He who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. (7) For there are three that bear witness in heaven; the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

·         1 John 5: 8 (NKJV): And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.

Key words being: “My FatherFather, “the word which you hear is not Mine Word, Holy Spirit, and these three are one.

Knowing:

·         Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all. 1 Corinthians 15: 28 (NKJV)

Yeshua Himself will be subject to God when He delivers (1 Corinthians 15: 24) the kingdom to His “My God” God, the “My Father” Father.

QUESTION:  Looking to be (“agree as one) in agreement with not only him, John, but Yeshua, as well, can you tell me where Yeshua fits in John’s writings (1 John 5: 7 or 5: 8); based on the [Biblical] evidence?

1)      Man saying the Son of God is “the Son is God,” Word (John 1: 1), God; agreeing with both the Anthanasian Creed (325-AD), and man interpretations of the [Scriptures], in doing so; with man at the helm.
Or:

2)      The Scriptures (John’s writings included in them) clearly are establishing the “One, You, the only true God,” God, and not Yeshua, as being the God of not only Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, but “My God,” Yeshua’s, as well, within them; which can only be seen by those [in] Messiah; the Spirit of God leading the way.
I’ll give you my answer [knowing] the Spirit of God [is] leading the way as I do, “1 John 5: 8, number two!” I certainly don’t want to be found disagreeing with the “One” that taught Yeshua everything He spoke.

God bless!!
In His Loving Care…Jim

Why does the NIV omit verse 8 in 1 John 5 and insert a footnote in its absence? Is this “man” imposing his view on scripture by forcefully eliminating a passage that has been used to support the doctrine of the Trinity since 1611? Is the NIV against the doctine of the Trinity? The NIV was not the first to be accused of “omitting” words from the Bible.

The inclusion of “verse 8” occurred in 1522, prior to this it did not appear in any Greek manuscripts (MSS). Erasmus who is credited with the first publication of the Greek NT did not have the entire NT available to him in 1516. In the final verses of The Book of Revelation he used the Latin Vulgate to translate these verses into Greek. His first and second editions did not include 1 John 5:8 because it did not exist in any Greek MSS. Erasmus was criticized for not including this powerful verse supporting the doctrine of the Trinity. He later reluctantly included the verse with a rather long footnote questioning the validity of the MSS which was most likely made to order by a Franciscan Friar who took the disputed words from the venerable Latin Vulgate. For a detailed account of issues surrounding the NT see Bruce Metzger’s The Text of the New Testament: It’s Transmission, Corruption, and Restoration (page 100 from the 2nd edition, 1968).

Even the NKJV includes the footnote regarding the questionable verse. I find it quite interesting that you are in support of its inclusion, much like Erasmus’ critics. Although, their reason for criticism for the omission was that he was not supporting the “doctrine of the Trinity” and yours is for the opposite reason. At any rate, the KJV stands alone in its inclusion, but this was 500 years ago. Thousands of more manuscripts have been found and help us come to the closest version (Greek text) of the original autographs.

    1. John, I can sum your “comment” up by using one word, “Schisms!” The [simplicity] of the doctrine of Yeshua can be, will be, found, when a person chooses the Spirit of God as their source. The [Bible] is the [evidence] of God’s plan of redemption for His chosen People (Israel), and salvation for the Gentiles will be done; in spite of man. There’s not a person, and this while reading the [Bible] (as is), that cannot say “That verse was me, I can relate,” or “That’s amazing, that verse (as is) is exactly what I needed to hear.”
The last thing [this] world needs to hear or read, is more reasons to doubt “the [Bible]!” The division(s) amongst the people claiming to have the truth (Yeshua’s doctrine), is all the reason they (the world) needs, to reject it; not that the truth changed.
What God has placed in my care (false doctrines), may be different than what He’s given to another (found to be in Messiah that is) to accomplish. With your message of “this manuscript, and that manuscript, or this person or that person saying this, or that, is confusion at its highest point. I call it “The maze of man interpratation of the [Scripture],” and you’ve given the [viewing] audience enough evidence of it, being so.
My question is to you, the [viewing] audience. When a potential convert is before your eyes or listening (phone) to you from a distance, or receiving a message via “mail,” what’s your message to them going to be?
      I’ll give you mine:
“Accept Yeshua God’s way, and not mans. Open up your heart to receive all that God has prepared for you. He loves you! He sent His Son into the world to die for the sin of the world, and that included yours, and mine.
Just as Mary and Joseph discovered there was no room for them in the inn, Mary about to give birth, to say there’s no room in your heart, it being full of the cares of this world, for the Lamb of God born in a manger instead, would be devistating. There’s nothing you have done the Lamb, Yeshua as He hung on that cross, can’t forgive. Accept Yeshua as Lord, and Savior of your life according to the [Scriptures]. Surrender yourself to Him, and allow the Spirit of God teach, and show you everything Yeshua said, and did. You’ll see the evidence of it being so as you walk one step at a time if you do. I’m an eyewitness of that being a truth. The Spirit of God will allow you to not only [see] everything Yeshua said is truth, you’ll be an eyewitness to the love of God as it comes to life all around you, too. You’ll understand the cross of Messiah in a way you’ve never heard it before. Trials will become sweet to you.”
With the [Scriptures] being, as given to me by the Spirit of God, the source.
“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” Apostle John “the beloved,” 1 John 4: 8-9 (NKJV)
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Messiah Yeshua, John 3: 16 (NKJV)
“This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” Messiah Yeshua, John 15: 12 (NKJV)
Jesus said to him (a lawyer), “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” Messiah Yeshua, Matthew 22: 37-40 (NKJV)
Jesus said to him (Thomas), “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” Messiah Yeshua, John 14: 6 (NKJV)
