From One Believer To Another

From One Believer to Another

If this is your first time visiting this blog, “Welcome!”

As you read, I pray you’ll not see me as being angry at anyone. Firm at times with some, I’ll agree with that. I know that no matter what a person has gone through, things they’ve said or done, or still doing for that matter, there’s a 50/50 chance of my having sought forgiveness for doing the exact same thing at one time or another. I know the battle is not against flesh and blood my friend.

Throughout this blog you will find me quoting things heard on the radio. You’ll not find the names of those who said these things in the posts. I do document their names, the date, time, and radio station call sign on my copy of the original document. I do not publish these details because our mission should be to expose the false teachings not to personally attack the person.

If you should continue reading my friend, you will find the Anthanasian Creed being exposed for what it is, a false doctrine. The word of God having the final say. My trusting in He who knows hears and sees all things, the God of the [Bible].

Who is Worthy to Open the Scroll?

(Speaking of Yeshua) “and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” Revelation 1:6 (NKJV)

If this is your first time visiting this blog, “Welcome!”

In the precious and beautiful name of Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings.

The Hebrew [Scriptures], the “Old Testament,” is full of prophecies concerning the coming Messiah.  From the announcement of His birth place in Micah 5:2, which just so happened to be Bethlehem, to His death on a cross, Messiah has been made known to us.

In John 1:29, which is found in the New Testament, its John the Dunker “Baptist” clearing the air as to who these prophecies were speaking of.  When John saw the [Biblical] Yeshua coming towards him, he said this of Him, “Behold! The Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world!”

The Lamb of God, according to the word of God, is the Son of God.

How anyone could mistake the [Biblical] Yeshua for anyone else but the Son of God is beyond comprehension.  With that said, mistakes have been made.

In one system of belief the Son of God becomes “the Son is God”.  In another He is just one of the prophets.  Neither of which have any [Biblical] evidence supporting them.  Not that Yeshua isn’t a prophet, He is, and He’s not just any prophet.  Lest we forget, Messiah Yeshua is the Son of God.

The person teaching the [Biblical] Yeshua is “the Son is God,” while at the same time ignoring His teachings, has fallen for the oldest trick in the book.  They’ve chosen to believe what someone else [thinks] the word of God said.

The person seeing the [Biblical] Yeshua as [just] a prophet, while at the same time ignoring His teachings, has set themselves up to believe anything.  This would certainly include believing what someone else [thinks] the word of God said.

Peoples of the world, don’t be fooled.  There’s a lot of [crazy] “stuff’ going on these days in the name of “religion”.  People believe there are three major “religions,” Hebrew, Muslim and Christianity.  However the Hebrew speaking Nation, the Jewish Community, isn’t a religion.  It is a Community of People chosen by God.  Gentiles, non-Jewish, are grafted into this Community.  According to the [Scriptures] of course.

Which leads me to the reason for this post.

Let’s look at one event in the [Bible] that has yet to be fulfilled, not that there aren’t more, Messiah Yeshua’s second coming for one.  This particular one shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone, either.  It too is made known to us in the [Bible].

And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals.  Then I saw an angel proclaiming with a load voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seal?”  And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it.  Revelation 5:1-3 (NKJV)

Who [is] worthy to open the scroll?  I ask, not because I don’t know, but because there are some that actually believe it isn’t the [Biblical] Yeshua.  These are the same ones saying Yeshua is [just] a prophet (Muslims).  I wonder what kind of prophet they think He is.  Then there are those saying it is Yeshua, but they are the ones teaching another plan of salvation.  One not found in the [Bible].  These are the followers of the Anthanasian Creed.

Unless a person believes someone performed a great “Houdini” act here, switching the one that died on a cross for the sin of the world with another, the only one taking the scroll from Him that sits on the throne will be the [Biblical] Yeshua.

There’s no need to alter the [Biblical] account of who Messiah Yeshua is.  He’s the Son of God.  Believing He’s the Son of God is the [Biblically] correct thing to do.  I can safely say believing Yeshua [is] the Son of God will have everything to do with the salvation of one’s soul.  There’s no reason to doubt Him being the Lamb that takes away the sin of the world.  Thus making Him the only one worthy to take the scroll.  The all-knowing God of the [Bible] has everything under control.  God’s plan of redemption and salvation is at work here.

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he determined to let Him go… For Moses truly said to the fathers, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you. And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’ Acts 3:13-23 (NKJV)

The [Scriptures] are clear.  The [Biblical] account of Yeshua is trustworthy.  Unless a person believes the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob, the one that glorified His Servant Jesus, raised up a “Prophet” like Moses, isn’t the God of the [Bible].

So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it. But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.” And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.  Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.  Revelation 5:4-7 (NKJV)

The Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, and the Lamb mentioned in Revelation 5:4-7, is the Son of God.  The [Biblical] Yeshua.

A person can call/make the [Biblical] Yeshua whatever they want, if it doesn’t agree with the word of God it will be exposed for what it is, manmade.  Not inspired.  Perishing.

Therefore the person asking me who’s worthy to take the scroll from Him who sits on the throne will get nothing but the [Biblically] correct answer, the [Biblical] Yeshua “Jesus”.

God bless.

In His Care…Jim
