From One Believer To Another

From One Believer to Another

If this is your first time visiting this blog, “Welcome!”

As you read, I pray you’ll not see me as being angry at anyone. Firm at times with some, I’ll agree with that. I know that no matter what a person has gone through, things they’ve said or done, or still doing for that matter, there’s a 50/50 chance of my having sought forgiveness for doing the exact same thing at one time or another. I know the battle is not against flesh and blood my friend.

Throughout this blog you will find me quoting things heard on the radio. You’ll not find the names of those who said these things in the posts. I do document their names, the date, time, and radio station call sign on my copy of the original document. I do not publish these details because our mission should be to expose the false teachings not to personally attack the person.

If you should continue reading my friend, you will find the Anthanasian Creed being exposed for what it is, a false doctrine. The word of God having the final say. My trusting in He who knows hears and sees all things, the God of the [Bible].

A Cause For Concern

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.” Ephesians 1:3 (NKJV)

In the name of Him who gave Himself a ransom for all, Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” greetings. See 1 Timothy 2:6 (NKJV)

While listening to the local “Christian” radio station I heard, “Anything you turn your life over to will destroy you, other than the person of Jesus Christ.”  The speaker on the radio couldn’t have said it any better, hit the nail right on the head.  The speaker is a follower of the Anthanasian Creed.

“Whosoever will be saved, before all things, it is necessary that he hold the catholic (i. e. , universal, (Christian) faith. Which faith except every one do keep whole and undefiled without doubt he shall perish everlastingly.”  - First two sentences of the Anthanasian Creed.

“This is the catholic (Christian) faith; which except you believe faithfully and firmly, you cannot be saved.”  - Last sentence of the Anthanasian Creed.

We [absolutely] cannot link the salvation of a single soul to the Anthanasian Creed but we can blame it for turning people away from [Biblical] truths to false teachings.  According to the Anthanasian Creed unless one turns their life over to the Anthanasian Creed, they “shall perish everlastingly.”  Its followers will tell you the Anthanasian Creed is sound doctrine, when nothing could be further from the truth.  God’s plan of salvation is trustworthy.  Unlike the Anthanasian Creeds “method of salvation” where unless one believes the Anthanasian Creed one “cannot be saved.”

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”  John 3:16 (NKJV)

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.  2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)

John 3:16 and 2 Corinthians 5:17 make it [perfectly] clear that the Anthanasian Creed adds onto God’s plan of salvation.  Whoever believes in” Messiah Yeshua “Jesus,” “He is a new creation” and doesn’t have to believe the Anthanasian Creed for anything.  It doesn’t matter that some believe the Anthanasian Creed was birthed in the fourth century and others in the fifth century.  It adds onto God’s plan of salvation.

Let’s cut to the chase, the Anthanasian Creed has absolutely nothing to do with the salvation of one’s soul.  If you think there’s more than a 0% chance of the Anthanasian Creed being sound doctrine, then saying “Anything you turn your life over to will destroy you, other than the person of Jesus Christ” should be cause for concern regarding the direction of your life.

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.  1 John 4:15 (NKJV)

The person confessing “Jesus is the Son of God” is saved according to the [Scriptures].  There is nothing in this [Scripture] that is unseen or implied.  There is no word “unless” or “but” that would bring in the claim of the Anthanasian Creed that you must believe it in order to be saved.  You’d be taking on the role of being God when it comes to the word of God by saying the person isn’t saved until they believe the Anthanasian Creed.

You be the judge.  Does the Anthanasian Creed add onto God’s plan of salvation?

Would you say the person confessing Jesus is the Son of God, the Lord and the Savior of their life, saved according to the [Scriptures], and rejects the Anthanasian Creed altogether, is saved?

As one who loves Jesus, and who’s not ashamed to tell others about Him, I say the person is saved.  I find it hard to believe that the one confessing Jesus is the Son of God, saved according to the [Scriptures], and would say that the Anthanasian Creed does not add onto God’s plan of salvation.

God bless.
In His Care… Jim
